It pretty much sums up what I've read here in the forum. People who vape hate cig-a-likes but those who smoke need a cig-a-like to give them the illusion of smoking cigarettes. I know it worked for me in the beginning.

The majority of the people who switch to vaping start with a cig-a-like. Some never move on from there, and that is ok. I followed the "standard" path (cigalike->ego->VV->APV). I figure if cig-a-like are what is keeping you from smoking, they are doing the job they were designed to do. More vapers=less smokers!
