So I was at walmart waiting on a prescription to be filled. As I wondered the aisles, I walked down the spice aisle to look at the extracts as I occasionally do to see if any thing is fit for vaping. I found a bunch of small bottles if these.

In a bunch of different flavors. Looked at the ingredients and they looked vapable. So I picked up a small bottle of peanut butter and strawberry. When I got home I mixed the two flavors with some nic juice. The flavor is great, just like a PB&J sandwich. I vaped it all day today. Has anyone else used this brand of extract for e juice? My next step is to see how clean it vapes and to see if steeping it will improve flavor.

A you sure that none of their flavors have diacetyl. There is no place for guessing here you must know that none of their flavors contain this chemical.

Diacetyl is a natural butterly flavoring found in butter. It is perfectly safe to eat but will destroy you lungs if vaped or inhaled over a person of time, as short as a year.

This is why I say away from the buttery and cream flavors.

The cool thing about the website I linked in the OP is that they list ingredients so you can avoid the ones with oil. The juice I PB&J juice I made about a week ago is doing great and it vapes pretty clean. The flavors ave blended together nicely. The strawberry is not as noticeable so I might need to add a bit more of that. But all in all it is a good vape. Been vaping just this since I mixEd it.

Not worried about what the artificial flavors may be? Or the fact that they use coloring like Red#40 or Blue#1?

Hmmm I wonder how the juice I got from madvapes is pink. Couldn't be coloring from the flavoring they use, it must be from all the blood and sweat call work that they put into it.
Hmmm wonder what purpose a smartass has in life??

Either way, i would hope that vendors selling e-juice have done their research for me to know that the product that they are selling isn't harmful if inhaled since they aren't giving us a full list of all their ingredients used to make the product.

Don't count on it. Most of the ones on this forum are pretty good because there are so many vapors who do research this stuff and aren't shy about asking questions and posting problems. But there are vendors out there who are just in for the money. Personally if it is going into my lungs I want to know what the ingredients are. That's one reason I mix my own juice. As a side benefit I save money.

My point exactly. The vendors I use come recommended from this site. Even though they don't disclose the ingredients used, I would hope they are using flavors that are known to be ok for vaping. They are also more than likely using the same vendors I use for my DIY.

I also have started DIY and again use flavors that I would hope have been researched to be ok for vaping. Although they do not say exactly what the "artificial flavors" are, Perfumer's Apprentice does a good job of informing their buyers of things that may not be safe to inhale. Pretty sure the reason is because they have a large consumer base for people who DIY juices using their product.

"Below is a link to a study done for the cosmetics industry, but which also provides
data on food safety as well as inhalation safety. Please feel free to call us with questions."

Also pretty sure if I were to contact Watkins and asked if their product would be safe to inhale using an electronic cigarette, they'd have no idea what I was talking about.

Either way, not trying to start any arguments. Just throwing out caution warnings as these extracts that you're using may not be safe for inhalation.

If remember right, to get FDA approval the major flavor vendors need to disclose what is in their artificial flavors. Not sure if that applies to extracts. Not only do they have DIY base but a year or two ago this forum got them to take diacetyl out of their flavors. Even thought diacetyl only affects vapors. Also most of the flavors from these vendors have had their ingredients published on this forum.

Wasn't try to be a smart ..., just bringing to light the fact that many people will bring up the fact about the coloring and not even question why the juice they get from a large company has a tint to it.

Clearly you have done your research, as have I. And I would incourage everyone to before they venture into DIY.
