So I love PB cookies, anything PB actually. I bought a 50 ml bottle when it dropped so it's been steeping 2 months, little more. When I 1st got it all I tasted was roasted, burnt peanuts. Tried it every few weeks & it's a tiny better but just can't get past that taste, I'm so sad:( Talked to Nicoticket 2x wondering if my ohms were to high, all that. So many ppl love it, does the icky burnt Peanut taste go away? Does the cookie part come out & if so when lol? I'm debating if I should trade or sit on it & pray it turns into no more burnt peanuts taste.
I know some of ya all think I'm crazy! It's ok, I am lol

Heya Myah! As you have probably been told a million times, taste is extremely subjective. My standard line is "a great vape is a synergy between a vaper, a liquid, and a combination of hardware in a moment in time... if any of those stars are not aligned, light is less likely to shine from heaven."

The liquid is what it is - before we assume it's just not for you, let's talk about the variable we can control... the hardware... I wonder, in the interest of getting the most out of your bottle, can you give me details about the device/topper you are using, voltage/wattage, resistance, etc... I may be able to help!

No problem, love advice from ya! Love the quote by the way:) I 1st tried it on my Cloupor w/ a Zenith V2 @ .60 but no longer have that. Now I'm using a Reo with a Odin & Zenith V2, my ohms range around .60, sometimes as low as .30 but usually around . 60 when I've dripped PBC. I use 26 or 28 Guage. I prefer single coils so I usually build parallel to get resistance lower. It reminds me when you get a bad, icky Peanut outta the bag. Sounds bad, I'm sorry.... I have a Magma on the way so I will definitely wait till I fiddle around with that. Every NT juice I've tried is absolutely amazing & I'm obsessed with Frenilla, Strawnilla & CLS. Maybe I've ran into 1 that doesn't work, hope not! Time will tell, any suggestions let me know!

Hi'ya Myah! ( had to do it just cuz it rhymes :p) My preference for PBC with the REO is a 26g coil built to 0.8 ohms (single coil Cyclone afc) and with the Hana/ Magma, dual 28's built to 1.0 and wattage anywhere between 9 and 15 watts. Give it a shot and see what you think. With the Hana, I get more Peanut at 9 and the creaminess comes out at 11 and above.

Hope this helps........:)

Cool, thank you, don't have the Cloupor anymore but hopefully will get one again & I will keep it in mind. I guess I was thinking more creamy & less burnt Peanut, hopefully it will die down. I usually don't like smaller attys but since getting the Reo I REALLLLLLLY want to get a Cyclone, HAS to have AFC though. Do you know any sites that have BF with AFC? Or even TF, I could get it modded. If u know sites or anybody who may wanna get rid of one sometime, can ya let me know please, unfortunately I don't have classifieds access:(

I don't know the how and the why, but some folks get that burnt peanut flavor. I was so hyper-sensitive about it that I conjured v2 to try to reduce it... it was particularly prevalent in v1 when it was fresh. I would describe it as "fresh organic roasted peanuts" - not so creamy, not so-much peanut-butter either... just roasty. I am one of the people who actually preferred the roasty flavor when it was fresh - not so much after it steeped out.

Based on the build info you have provided, I hate to bow to the taste is subjective gods, but you gear is straight (truthfully I had hoped you would tell me about your iClear 30 or something of the like). The only thing I can conjure, totally experimental, would be...

Use a VV/VW device and and a 1.2 ohm coil... start as low as you can go (6w or so) and slowly work your way up over a period of time. Sometimes it takes some time to find your personal sweet spot. One of the conundrums is that, at least in a REO - Katy loves the stuff. I'm not a fan of PBC in the REO honestly - I get no cookie - if I do vape it it's in a drilled out patriot on the Surfrider, then it seems to balance out for me personally.

i have never really subohmmed by more than .9 but from my tasting experiences with pbc and the reo i personally prefer more of a 1.2 or 1.3 ohm coil. i get a wider variety of taste than i do at 1 ohm. pbc is really good but i'm not its hugest fan either - just because i like so many others far better. but maybe try raising the resistance even if you wouldn't normally do so - why not, worth a shot right :)

Good point - could just be overworking the liquid.

Good idea sloth, I will build a higher ohm & try it out.. After it sits for couple more weeks lol. Thank you everyone, I love NT & all the great support. Truly is a great family;)
