A lot of good points were made in this thread But bottom Line for One of the best reviewers out there he did a poor job on the Reo review
Here's a link to a very good review on the Reo it's a little to long and the camera work could use improving but it's a thorough Honest review IMO

Now, THERE is a nice, thoughtful, thorough review worth watching. Thank you for posting that link, Steamer!

Things brings up a question I've been asking myself - why doesn't the Reo come with a button cover? Just raise the price to an even $150 and include it. Seems like a no-brainer to me since all of the Reo users I know personally hate using it without a button cover, myself included.

I think it would increase the perceived "user-friendly-ness" of the mod to the uninitiated.

It could come "standard" with the delrin cover. Then have an add on amount for aluminum or brass. I was thinking the same thing.

I order my subs from subway with ZERO veggies. Yet I pay the same price as the people who load theirs up with veggies.

I order my REOs with zero button covers. Finally there is justice. People who want extra stuff have to pay extra :). I like it. :)

I wish it were like that with everything in life.

I think his review was fair given it was bought from outside Reosmods.com. When I first saw a Reo Grand (one of the first versions that was boxier), I did have similar thoughts about it. Of course hanging around ECF (and the micro coil thread) changed all that and I was a convert. All of my issues on the Grand was addressed with the LP version, upgraded contacts and the button. My impression has changed from "it has potential" to "absolutely rocks" with the current iteration. :)

No offense to Rob, but I think his site needs some improvement IMO. It's functional, but it isn't clear on what could be done with the mod. If I had the skill to build such a site, I'd make a "build your Reo" section where you start off with a basic Black Wrinkle Grand then choose options from drop downs such as body color, door color, button upgrades, LP/SL variants then the preview image would change based on your choices. Add-ons such as extra kits, bottles, springs, etc. can be added once your Grand is built. It'll make the order process more interactive and you'll see how your mod will look like before you hit the buy button.

that would be awesome, something like build your reo, start here, and then select each option and add on to make a complete order... only problem is rob doesn't like anything on his site that isn't actually in stock and ready to ship which makes tons of sense in reducing the stress level of what he does, if he had to jump to fulfill every option as it's ordered he'd probably really throw himself in the dirt as he would say

If you're a "one man team", like Rob.....doing a "Build Your Own Reo" would likely be a logistical nightmare!
Ask Clark over at Nicoticket....he'd LOVE to fill custom "BYO" juice orders.....but, given his limited manpower and resources....it just isn't practical....
IF Rob ever decides to expand.....the "BYO" concept could be viable....
One can always HOPE.....!!;)
Happy (vaping) Trails!

I do agree the website could use some work its not one of my strong suits .
Keep in mind I actually build mods I do all the customer service emails answer the phone run my guys design products run and program machines . If I just bought and sold products I would have a magical website with all the magical drop down menus . I do the best I can with my 80+ hour work weeks . I dont have much time to mess with web pages .

People say hire someone to deal with your customers lol . Not a easy task to find someone that is capable of dealing with vapers and giving them good customer service . That is my rant back to work

Someone send him his badge. :vapor:

Don't just send him his badge, tell him to get his AYuss here to receive it! One does not just have it sent to them, they should be present to have it bestowed upon them!

EDIT: Would be great if he had an invitation to visit Rob... wouldn't really be that far away for him to drive, Phil being in NY and all. Just a thought...

I hope my comments about the site didn't rub you the wrong way Rob. Personally I'd rather have the level of craftsmanship and customer service you give than a fancy site. :)

FWIW, I think your website is just fine -- quite good, in fact, given your schedule. My previous post wasn't meant to be a criticism of your website; it was a defense of Busardo, who can't be expected to know all the ins and outs as well as those who frequent the forum do. When he receives products from third-party vendors, after all, he's used to having very little contact with and/or very little information directly from the (usually Chinese) manufacturer.

So although he probably should have spent more time reading through your website in this instance, he can be forgiven for missing certain relatively obscure details. And he can be forgiven for preferring regulated devices.

Regardless, I'm glad Busardo gave the REO an unambiguously positive review. I don't always agree with the guy, but I think he's among the best ecig reviewers precisely because he is nitpicky, precisely because he's usually thorough enough that even if your taste differs from his, you can get a fairly good idea of how the product in question will perform for you.

As for me, I'd been eyeing the Reo for some time, because I've reached the point where anything other than my dripper feels like a disappointment. My order went through this morning, not because Busardo convinced me of anything in particular -- but due in no small part to my suspicion that your stock will take a hit as a result of Busardo's review. I hope so, anyway. Any bump in your sales would be well-deserved, based on everything I've seen, heard, and read.

Thanks for your hard work.

Looks like Phil might just become Reonaut...
Newest video (as of today), at about 1:10 he does a nice little rant about how much he loves his Grand. Also corrects himself on his previous errors. Glad to see it.

A PBusardo Review & Review Delaware Vapor and Innokin Lily CLK DRV & Contest Winner - YouTube

I can't say im surprised, but it does make me very happy to see him enjoying it so much! The whole beauty of the REO is that it just works *period* You just find that coil that you like and thats it, all day every day with no worries about dropping it or having it leak.

Fulgrant, if you think that now just wait till you get it in your hands. My favorite part about getting my first REO was realizing that I didn't have to bring anything with me for a full days work. No tools, batteries, juice (well maybe some cotton, till i switched to xc-116). I look forward to seeing you around :toast:
