I am guessing this would be the place to ask. I have one of the old recalled BLU PCCs that I can't use as a charger. Is it possible to take the guts (electronic stuff) out of the case without damaging it cosmetically? I would like to use the case to carry extra batteries and carts. I could fit a lot more and a little bottle of juice if it were an empty box.

Thanks,

Yeah. Take out the foam by grabbing one side of it and pulling up. It's glued on.

Then take something that's flat and metal, like a putty knife, and slide it down the backside between the case and the plastic that's in the middle. Go all the way down to the bottom of the case You should hear the glue breaking loose (crackling). Wiggle it around until you don't hear any more glue coming loose.

Then do the same to the front of the case, but don't go all the way down. Only about an inch or two. Any lower than that and you might hit an electronic. And really, nothing is glued to the case any lower than that.

Then, take your charger plug and stick in the bottom of the case. Push it in, then push it a little harder to push the guts up. You should feel the insides coming up. If you are pushing real hard and it doesn't come up, try to see if you have any more glue stuck.

Once you get the guts up a little, use something thin, like the inside of a pen to stick in the charging hole to push the guts all the way up so you can pull it out with your fingers.
