When I'm crazy enough to pick up a soldering iron, I'm a danger to myself and others, so I thought I'd ask:

The L88b PCC (the blu Pack, the Volcano V-Pack, etc.) has a lot going for it, including the fact that it's available for $10. The blu ones have been recalled pending an update to a new (read: non-explodey) battery technology, but that's expected within 4 to 6 weeks.

Anyway. Many people have noted that L88b batteries work with JOYE 510 atomizers and 510 batteries work with L88b atomizers. I can add that JOYE 306a atomizers and batteries work with the L88b and 510 parts as well. However, the one big caveat is that one can't use L88b chargers on JOYE batteries or JOYE chargers on L88b batteries without frying something or everything. The connectors fit, obviously, but apparently the + and - are switched, something like that? I'm finding the 306a to be a really nice super mini, but without a good PCC it's not living up to its potential.

Since 306a batteries physically fit PERFECTLY in the L88b PCC, I was wondering if anyone has attempted to mod a blu Pack to charge 306a or 510 batteries? Or if anyone would be willing to try?

I've been toying with this for a while...here is what I determined...

The case, can't be taken apart, at least anyway I know of, without destroying it....and...cutting yourself...and....getting so mad, you don't know what to do.....lol..

I am pretty sure that the poles are different from 510s, etc...because I took apart a blu usb charger...and verified this, because the poles have to be the same in both....

if you could get it apart without destroying it, or nearly needing stitches....you'd simply need to unsolder the two wires on the battery fitting, and switch them, and resolder them.

my thought was to mod it for my dse084 for lack of a hard shell pcc...but I destroyed the blu pcc taking it apart....

I'm still working on the project, however, with a different case and such...

If you could find out how to get the case apart, it'd be sweetness....cause it's a nice little case, but I'm not ready to start prying on my new rubberized white valcano pcc....
