Hey all! I'm expecting a new PCC, and I was going to return my defective one. The place I purchased from, said not to worry about returning it, this time.

I wonder if a wire got loose or the battery is out? Perhaps I can fix it or mod it some way. I already pulled it off the actual case. It's just stuck with a foam tape. My son has one of those electromagnetic kits. Maybe I can generate power from that. Has anyone ever modded their PCC, or a have an advice for me?

Super Duper Thanks!!!!

I'm kind of surprised that I haven't got any responses on here. I've been waiting 2-3 days to get my replacement battery, and have been craving nig. I smoked a cigar today, but I really want to see if I can make this usuable.

So I took it apart. I see the circuit board, two wires that connect to the USB line, and then there is two wires that connect to a rechargeable lithium battery, 3.7v 1300mAh. I accidentally pulled out the wires from the little connector piece that you screw the battery on.

Can anyone help a sista out, before I break down and buy analogs? I'm headed to the gym, to distract myself. Thanks peoples!

Hehe, I should have learned my lesson, but I only bought the PCC and one battery. Big newbie mistake! Today when I head home from work, I will have a wall charger, new PCC, and battery waiting for me from Mr. Mailman! But since looking into this forum, I have become very intrigued and inspired to make my first MOD! I guess I need to look through the threads and learn the difference from 510 and KR8 batts. I'm going to pick up a multimeter and solder iron today. I have a some old battery boxes, but need to look at more videos and tutorials to figure out what else I need to make my first MOD!

Dont buy the cheapest iron you can find. A cheap soldering iron will lead to much frustration ! At least go for a mid range, and dont buy it at radio shack you will get ripped off LOL I got a decent variable wattage iron online from parts express for around $15 and its very nice for the price! The key to a good solder joint is making sure the work is clean before you start, a little flux will make the solder flow much easier!
