Hey guys im currently using the blu (L88B) e cig and it has treated me good for the past year. I'm soon going to be upgrading to a 510 model :toast: for the versatility of it and i want something that lasts longer and gives a better kick. My question is im going to be getting a volcano magms (if anyone knows anything about that model please comment) and i'm going to order me some manual batteries with the atomizers. The Blu PCC is not a smart PCC and thats one thing im absolutley looking forward to becasue i work in a children's hospital and working with patients i cant always get back to unscrew my damn battery from charging. Anyways the Magma looks great but from every forum post ive read about it it will charge the manual batteries (if you can get it to fit) but will not hold them so you can carry around the spare. Is there any site out there where i can get a good smart PCC that will hold/charge manual batters. Maby even a cart mod or something i can do. Also on the atomizers i know the Magma uses the long bridge 510 attys is that a good atomizer to use with the blue foam mod or is there a better atomizer out there for the 510? I've been looking at the LR 1.5 ohm atties but being new to the 510 i dont know much about them. So please if you can just shead some light on good 510 attys and a smart PCC that can hold a manual battery i would be much oblidged.

Forget the PCC's and, if you can swing it, buy an EGo. Same set up as a 510 (same atties and carts), but the battery lasts anywhere from 6-10 hours depending on your vaping style. If you're working in a hospital, I'm pretty sure you could run one all day long.

If you MUST have a PCC, most of them out there ARE set up for the manual batteries. Try cignot.com for the EGo or the PCC. Here's a link..http://www.cignot.com/category_s/52.htm

Hope that helped and good luck!! :)

Cash, modding the Volcano Magma PCC to accept the manual betteries is easy to do. Just look at the pic below. Let me know if you have any questions.

zoiDman, I think you're right but I can't confirm that because I haven't tried. I do have a Blu and a Volcano Magma (510) as well as other 510's. I've killed other batteries that way.

Cash, the metal is not that thick so a narrow width wire cutter should do the trick. I had a tool that came in a little kit that I got from work. It works as a plier, wrench and wire cutter.

I hear you. Blu was my first e-Cig and I wasn't too impressed. I like it for it's size but I could get thru the day with 2 batteries or 2 carts.

So I got a 510 and when I realized that the threads were the same as the Blu, I thought I would keep the Blu past the 30 day refund period. The PCC was what seemed cool. Thought I could charge my 510 with it and use the Blu cig as a backup.

After ruining a 510 battery I search this site and found a thread about the polarity being reversed of a Blu to a 510. I scurried around and found that I was past my refund period. Oh well, live and learn.

I still pull out the Blu every now and again. I put a 510 carto on it.

Cool ill check that out apophis i just bought my magma 510 waiting for it. What are your thoughts on that e cig? Also did you try and fit the manual batteries in before cutting it and they just get hung up or what?

The Magma 510 manuals have a low profile button compared to other 510's out there. They were easy to stick in the hole provided, but I had a hard time removing them. It seemed like the PCC was going to rip the button off of the battery. Once I made the slot between the holes, there was no problem.

I've been using the Magma for a couple of weeks now. And it certainly rocks. The stock filler in the carts works pretty well overall and one cart lasted for about 3-4 days of filling before sticking to the atty bridge. At that point I used a new cart. But, now I just put in a piece of blue foam and I get much better flavor and the cart lasts longer before refilling.
