PCC Troubleshooting

When charging, the light on the bottom light (charge status light) is like an amber/yellow color. if i stick a spent battery in it, the top red light comes on to tell me its charging. but then after a couple hours, the middle red light comes on, telling me it is out of juice for charging batteries and itself needs to be charged.

i cannot find anything anywhere that says what to do if the charging light is amber. i am guessing that means it isnt charging is reserve batteries up. has anyone else seen this?

Sc--I have scene mine go red and I a have scene it also go red when charging. When they are both on, that means the PCC does in fact need to be charged. Sometimes I think it is also a reset issue when they both go on and pluging the PCC into the USP charger clears the reset.

i took it apart and there was some pocket lint in it. i cleared it out, and plugged it into the computer without the casing. the light was pure red, and then turned green afterwards. i will try it again and see if that worked. maybe the lint was causing a short or something.

Scar--keep us apprised--I know I have to use alcohol and a q-tip on the inside contact of the PCC on a regular bases to keep it charging.
