So, after my illustrious first posting here on ECF and the friendly folks that have helped calm my freak out about purchasing I have come to the conclusion that our first purchase is going to be an 510 and a eGo tank. My fiance and myself have discussed the pros and cons, and have decided to try for the best of both worlds.

The next question I have are about the PCCs out there. I know the 510s have PCCs available. The few I have seen are huge, like I could ward off an attacker with it.

ECF saved us from purchasing Blu. For that I will be forever grateful. But the one thing I admired about Blu was that nifty little PCC case that looks like a pack of smokes. I saw a similar set up at Inferno. Does anyone carry something similar? Something either sold as an accessories or part of a sweet 510 start up kit? Or do all the 510 PCCs look like their capable of causing bodily harm if thrown?

I have the same questions for the impending eGo tank purchase... I'm going to need something to transport that bad boy in, for taking with me during the daily grind. What's the best route for a eGo tank setup?

Is there anything stylish, yet not going to cost me an arm and a leg? The fiance could careless about the looks of the thing, just doesn't want it to be huge.

But I am a girl... And I'd prefer something that doesn't look like it came from the Army surplus store and could be used in a pinch, when your out of ammo, to incapacitate the enemy.

As I said before, nothing has been purchased yet, so if it's in a started kit, great! But I don't mind buying the PCC seperately either or from a different site then where we make our kit purchase from.

Thoughts, please?

Just my $0.02 regarding the Joye 510 PCC. It is not as big as I thought it would be. I purchased a purple one. I have an Android cell phone (about the size of an I-Phone), and the PCC is about as long and deep, though it is not as wide as my phone. It actually takes up less space in my purse than my old pack of 100s cigarettes did!! Also, two weeks into vaping, my husband and I both decided to upgrade to the eGo-T!!

I've just recently purchased the eGo-T, and have not even considered a PCC for it yet. Because of the battery life, I don't really see myself needing to carry much of anything away from home. I'm going to use it for a few weeks before I make that decision.

Hope this helps a tiny bit!!

Thank you! That does help! A little more searchin and I found a nice PCC that was a bit more stylish. It's good to know that someone out here had some thoughts! I really didn't mean for my post to come off as snarky or anything. I'm just new, and am looking for a good way to protect or purchase.

And if it's stylish, I'd be proud to snap it out if front of others!

Thank you, again!

Here, there, everywhere!
I have come to the conclusion that our first purchase is going to be an 510 and a eGo Tank.

You mean a Ego with the Tank right? I don't know that a regular 510 batt and Ego Tank will work together? Maybe I am misunderstanding you though.

As for carrying - I bought a sunglass case from Wal-Mart. I put my spare Ego with Ego-T atty attached in the case and a few extra prefilled tanks in the little pill ziploc bags (also bought at wal-mart) along with my charger.

8 dollars for the sunglass case (you can get much cuter ones) and I think around $2 for 50 pill bags. Don't even need to buy a PCC.

I like that idea! No way for it to get lost in the bottom of a purse!!

I have an eGo with a 1000mah mega battery and so far I haven't seen a need for a PCC. Vaping with the tank has been hands down the BEST vaping experience I've ever known. Congratulations, IMHO you have chosen very well. I wish these things had been on the market back when I first started.

I carry mine around my neck on a lanyard I made from a boot lace and a carpenter's pencil holder I bought from Home Depot, but that's not very "girly". I've often thought about using a cigar tube for carrying around in my pocket. I keep my spare tanks in a reading glasses case I got from Big Lots for less than $3.

lol... no, but it is damn clever!

And lucky, lucky me - I have a fiance who works in leather and chainmaile... So I'm thinking I could end up with a sweet lanyard that has been totally customized for little ol' me!

BTW, love your avatar - Smith rules!

I too use a glasses case and love it. I also carry some juice and other "stuff" in a very small zip bag, though it would fit in my case. Inevitably battery goes dead after I leave the house for 10 minutes, so I broke down and ordered the Ego PCC that fits the fat batteries. I bought a PCC for a earlier version---loved the look, but not the equipment! The Ego PCC looks much more convenient and I might even be able to get a battery out at a red light when driving! LOL

the 510 pcc is tiny, just like Kelly said. Now my android is wider than the pcc, but thinner. Both the Android, and the pcc fit in a tiny Coach or Juicy clutch easily, (along with gloss, cards & cash). I have it in red, and picked up a used purple one for $10 here on the classifieds.

You can most definitely switch out batteries at a red light when you pull from your 510 pcc.

I ordered the ego tank 2 days ago, so I don't have any experience with it. From my understanding, it's not a HUGE tank thing (like an ammo bag you would take to the range or anything), but sorta like an atty that holds like 1.2ml of juice if I understood everything correctly.

yay! congrats! the 510 and the ego tank are my choice for best purchases too!
(vaped a few years ago on a 401, and the 510 is WAY beyond the 401)
