peanut oil?

This is my first thought for doing a DIY, and I have my head spinning from what I've already read..... there is a lot about vg/pg, but I'm completely broke, and want to make something a bit more natural. I bought peanut oil, fully organic from an organic market, and I was wondering, is it usable to make your own juice? If so, what would the possible cons be? I won't test this idea until I've researched it to death first but nothing online seems to tell me. I have reverse osmosis water (coming out at a mere 12 ppm, compared to bottled at 30 and up sometimes), peanut oil, peppermint, some fruit I would love to use the juices from all available. Any of these things worth testing? I have a bottle of 24 mg nicotine menthol ejuice I bought that is far too harsh, I would like to use it as the base, and dilute and add flavor just to try my luck. :p

Thanks for the recommendation! I get paid next friday and will be able to get better products THEN however, until then I spent my cigarette budget and.... unfortunately I bought a high nic rather than starting low. I wasn't paying attention at the store. lol. Is there a good way to cut the throat hit without loosing quality? Would the water be safe?

I would just go find some vg at just about any drugstore or walmart probably grocery store and cut it back that way. its super cheap . a few bucks. you shouldnt loose all that much flavor unless you are cutting it way down. it will help with the throat hit to. you can probably get alot of really good answers in the DIY catagory lol. and dont vape that peanut oil. :vapor:

Walmart sells USP grade VG (Humco brand Glycerin) for $3.88 in most places. That at least is safe to vape.
Peanut oil can, and most like will, cause medical conditions, such as pneumonia!
Water can be use sparingly.. (distilled water is suggested) a couple of drops for 10ml. Much more than that and it's going to make your "vape" unvapable.

As others have said do NOT use the peanut oil as a carrier! If anything, return the peanut oil to the place you bought it and go to the drugstore and buy very cheap glycerin (make sure it says USP on the bottle).

You can google ejuice me up calculator to get the right proportions of your existing nic base and the glycerin. Funnily enough you don't evne need to add any flavoring to it - the taste is very pleasant plain! (Also nix the fruit juice as a flavoring).

Oh, I cook with the oil, that's the only reason I thought of it at all. I'm not allergic to peanuts or, much of anything however I will NOT be using it, that's why I posted first, and patiently waited lmao. I couldn't find any resources personally on the oil as a vapor, but I figured the community probably had done some research, had you all not said much, I simply would have stuck to water and tried to figure it out for a few days hoping I could get used to the throat hit instead of feeling like I was going to die. My throat is still sore from yesterday's coughing fit....

I did a bit more reading, and decided it couldn't hurt to add 2-3 drops of the cleanest water you can get, and 2-3 drops of lemon juice. It got a bit more vapor, and a little less throat hit so I wasn't having a harsh cough, so I added 2 more drops of the water, and 1 more drop of lemon juice. I kept doing that until the vapor looked right and the throat hit wasn't so scratchy. No oil, so I went the safe route. So far, it's working wonders. I can feel the hit, but it's not much more than a malboro smooth (my fav) and it's now got a lemony tinge to it. The lemon juice I used I was worried about, it's the kind you would sprinkle over fish from concentrated pure squeezed lemons, but the clearomizer is a super cheap plastic that I really don't care about damaging, came with the Itaste, and I bought a Kanger pro-tank-2 separate. I won't use the lemon in the kanger, but I will use the water! Thanks all for the advice. I finally dug some info up on the oil and, though it was hard to come by, was well worth the read. Lemon - menthol = halls cough drops! Now all I need is the honey! :)

you can get 6oz of USP VG from any pharmacy for like $4-$6 to cut it, and to reduce the throat hit.

DO NOT VAPE OIL (lipids and mineral oil) Although many essential "oils" are fine, so long as the essence itself is not bad to inhale, vaping oil-"oil" is not good.
