Help using LorAnn Peppermint OIL

Hello all, I'm in need of some advice asap please!

My all day vape is peppermint. It's a diy 70pg/30vg 10% perfumers apprentice (flavor apprentice) peppermint flavoring (not the oil).

Well I'm on my last 3ml and didn't realize I was out of the PA peppermint

I do have a huge bottle of Lorann Peppermint Oil though but I've never used it so I need some tips please so I can make up a batch to last until my order of peppermint flavor comes in.

Does the oil actually mix in the pg & vg? Do I need to mix it with vodka or something first?

How much do I use? Is it stronger or should I still go with 10% to get the same flavor as I'm used to?

I know there's a lot who say don't use oil because it ruins your attys and so I never used it after I bought it but now I'm using cartomizers so I'm not really worried about the oil clogging them since they are so cheap and it's only temporary anyway.

Any advice on how to use this oil is greatly appreciated!

I mixed a tester of this yesterday (to get an idea of what % to use), but haven't tried it yet. I can tell you that it mixes just fine in an 80/20 pg/vg base.

I've read here that this is unusually potent. My first test is at 10%, but I fully expect the the right mix will end up being around 1%. I'll let you know my results when they come in!

Maybe I'll do a mini bottle today at 5% and see how that goes. What do I have to loose? If its too strong I guess I can just turn my little bottle into a bigger one....

10% is way too strong for me, although not so strong as to be unvapable. It certainly wil clear your sinuses, though. My next trial is at 5%, but my gut tells me this is going to come in around 2%.

FYI, I do this with all my new flavors, to establish a baseline percentage so that if mixed at that ratio the flavor will be about as potent as all my other flavors mixed at their baseline %. The baseline potency I chose is a matter of taste: you might prefer it stronger or weaker than I.

I actually just got my supplies in yesterday and mixed up a 20% mix. It was very strong. Went back and made a 10% mix and seemed to weak. settled on 15% and its just right. now i need to find this chick who is eating my pourage.

btw, all mixes made with lorann peppermint oil. I was going for the same taste as the v2 peppermint carts. I did mess up and not mix in any vg but it sounds like you wont have that problem.

I also made up a mix last night. I did 30%vg and 15% lorann peppermint oil at 16mg. It was perfect! I did another and added 5% PA cotton candy and its also very good.

The second taste more like a candy cane. Still can't decide which I like better....
