Hardly anyone use PEG. All I know about PEG is this - Chinese prefilled cartridges may have PEG instead of PG - I have no idea why. But when they sell the same flavors as Chinese juices they use PG.
Most people use PG and VG, and most use blends
PG is thin (thin enough for any method of
vaping), lets through the most flavor, most nicotine hit, most nicotine irritation, makes thin looking vapor. Hospitals use vaporized PG to deliver inhaled medications.
VG is thick (too thick for some popular methods of
vaping), dulls everything PG lets through, makes thicker more persistent vapor
Most people buy their
juice at juice vendors and use PG/VG blends.
I use 80PG/20VG in cartomizers. When using a normal atomizer I use 20% to 50% VG juices and you an use higher VG as long as it flows at least as fast as you vape it. Tank atomizers and reservoir cartomizers generally like 30% or less VG though some thinner 50/50's may work.
