I feel more healthy since I started vaping, I have no idea if it will cause me any health problems down the line. Widespread people have been vaping these flavors and chemicals all day long only since 2004. We really can't be certain what will happen to us in 10 or 20 years. What matters to me is I feel good TODAY.

I hear and read vapers extremely certain that this is entirely safe and going to extend our lives compared to smoking our nicotine. We can confidently GUESS that it is. It certainly is enjoyable :)

According to Wikipedia, polyethylene glycol 400 has been used to make "e-liquid" for Electronic Cigarettes.
PEG 400 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This ECF library article mentions that it is used in some of the pre-filled cartridges, not in any popular E-Liquid

I'm not sure of the date of this WebMD article,
propylene glycol is referred to as "PEG"...........kind of confusing

Craig Youngblood, president of the InLife e-cigarette company, says that since regular tobacco is very bad for you, something that assuages your nicotine habit without smoke must be less bad. "In our product you have nicotine or no nicotine, PEG, and some flavoring. In cigarettes you have nicotine, PEG, and 4,000 chemicals and 43 carcinogens,"
E-Cigarettes Under Fire

Craig's website makes no mention of PEG or PEG 400

FAQ's

Cigarettes contain PEG 400, 600 and 1000

After reading some of the data, I've decided that PG is probably the "safest" of the additives, though is does have a lower LD50 than "VG window film" that was determined by ingestion, not inhalation. VG has only been used in medical inhalers since 2000. PG has been used for over 50 years. Some people on this forum swear that they are allergic to PG and VG is safer. My lungs feel heavy when I vape high level VG.liquid.
