Penelope Clone?

So I was wondering if anybody knows what's going on with a possible Penelope clone? I've heard whispers here and there about one being made but didn't think much of it. I was just looking at Stormy's "setup guide" for the Terminator, and in the pictures it shows what looks to be a Penelope clone, or possibly a real Penelope it was hard to tell. There was no logo in the pics which there wouldn't be, but they weren't setting it up like a Penelope, they were setting it up like a V1 Oddy or Terminator. The knurled locking ring even looked a bit different (though in pictures these sort of things often look quite bigger/different than they do in person). I love my Penelope and i'm quite happy with it, so a clone isn't really something i'm interested in right now(the Term-C though different story! ) but i'm mostly curious. Anybody know anything about this? Is that really a Penelope clone they are using in the pics or are just just setting up a genuine Penelope the way the Terminator would be setup?

I think you're on to something there, when I first viewed those pictures I simply thought it was a real Penelope but the ceramic has ears on both sides. Is the small drip Terminator's ceramic and housing the same size as an Oddy or the size of a Penelope? If that piece is the same size as Penelope's I'll bet that they have made a cloned Penelope.

I think that the Penny clone is probably out there, IMO

I was interested in the Penelope at one time, I even got an email to get one but I chickened out. Having to twist together resistance wire and non resistance wire kinda puts me off. I have enough trouble making a regular coil! I was looking at that site and saw the same thing and wondered the exact same thing.

The kayfun mini es and no it's not a clone IMO. It's better. A lot more control with nr wires. Pricy tho

It's the same as the term

Unless the drip Terminator is different than a real Ody drip mode in size, it's the same base as a Penelope. You can put an Ody drip mode cap on a Penelope base.

You can order the one from vapor freak, (Just ordered mine). It's $95 including shipping from "wherever" to California. The only other one I have found was from VapourTrend.com. I looked them up and couldn't find any info or anyone who has ordered from them though so I was a little apprehensive about ordering from them. I also sent them an email asking where they would be shipping from and the only reply I got was "It is in stock"...LOL! Other forums have said the one from vapor freak is a good product.

Just saw a thread that showed the "euphoria" and Penny together and parts interchanged. Looks like the parts are interchangeable.

Just received my "Nautilus 2" from vaporfreak today.

Took a couple of attempts to get the NR-R-NR coil right, but other than that, piece of cake. It's set at 1.4 Ω and vaping like a champ with Boba's Bounty... Takes about 6-6.5 ml of juice and doesn't leak it seems.
