Penstyle and DSE 901 Chargers Compatible?

Are puresmoker's penstyle and DSE 901 pocket mini chargers the same or compatible? I already have the 901, but I was thinking of getting a penstyle and didn't know if I should really spend the money for a whole kit as opposed to just getting some batteries and an atomizer with some carts.
