27g 9ish wraps. Mount it as a vertical coil and tighten down the screw on the RM2. Then using your jig slowly bend it toward/away from the air hole.

I've never used a Reo but looking at getting one next month along with a Reomizer. Question is the way that wick is angled and you prime it does it dry burn often? I would assume you would want the cotton more over the wick hole ( new word of the day!) then away from it but looking at the picture I can't tell if its the shadow of the wick/coil that makes it look like the wick hole (fancy words) is slanted away from your coil location.

Hey Fu'taine, not sure I completely understand your question but I'll take a stab at it. You don't want to cover the hole in the bottom of the RM2 b/c it can cause drainage issues. The way I use my Reo is to tilt the button toward me when squonking or hitting it. That places the lower end of the coil/wick at the bottom facing toward me and the juice flows downward. I use a cotton wick so when the coil gets dirty I pull the cotton and dry burn the coil only then re-wick. If this doesn't make sense feel free to post up additional questions :D

So um maybe a total noob question, Why sub-ohm? I'm just curious cause it seems like everybody does it. Is there some advantage nobody has enlightened me on yet? Just curious is all.

Hey diesalrick,

It might be a Cali thing but subbing allows you to get the watts (power) up. DNA30 can go to 30 watts but I sub on my mech dripper 50+ watts. It's an experience to say the least.

Plus I've run a DNA20 mod and anything after 15 watts burned my juice. Don't know why but running mechs offers a better vape for me.

I have tried every new "miracle coil" and I keep coming back to what works - a simple micro, 28gu kanthal, somewhere around .4-.5 ohms on a fresh 18650... or 1.1 ohm micro on a regulated device like the Provari or the MVP 2.0

Don't fix it if it isn't broken? /shrug

Need to try twisted 28... just saying :D

Nope makes perfect sense. I never would have thought of a drainage issue. From "over-dripping" on that type of device.

Also - with a mech - you can drop it in the river while you are tubing, pluck it out, shake and vape. ;)

I'm more worried about dropping things off the back of the Harley. I'm pretty confident my ProVari will survive if there's no traffic. But I'm investing in lanyards anyhow :p

Dammit how did I miss this post, there is a Reo guy who dropped his Reo going down the highway. It looks beat up but still works :p

It's like the Virus': Try it at your own peril. The Reo-Virus is highly contagious too . . . . ;)

LOL yeah but The Virus has no learning curve and doesn't require months of savings! Also, I'd probably bite if I had the cash AND they had the VV Grand in stock in a color I liked.
the metallic red and metallic purple looks pretty nice
And if I had any idea what topper to put on it, and and...ok yeah way over my head.

Plenty of us here to help you out once you decide.
I believe Rob' may be discontinuing the vv models, but the regular Grand with the rm2 is the most popular. 'Way easier than it looks . . .

Just sayin you can PM redeyedancer over at the Reo mods sub and ask if he's got stock... and I'd be happy to send you my RM2.

Gonna have to see how long it takes finance to cough up the extra pay we are waiting for. Then I might, possibly, consider, maybe...

I'll second the RM2 with whatever Reo you decide on......!!
A tad pricey as attys go, maybe.....but IMHO worth every penny!
Used the IGO-S bf for awhile but found I was constantly flooding it (REALLY SMALL well.....)...got a second RM2 for my Mini 2.1..
Now GCD tastes like it SHOULD again!!:D
While you await your Reo, Jess....listen to Carly Simon's "Anticipation".....and gaze at your bottle of ketchup....!;)
The road to Reoville is a journey...AND a destination!!:)
Happy (vaping) Trails!

I don't exactly know why you would vape on a tubing adventure, probably don't wanna know. I use a cellphone case for my MVP. It works well for the awkward shape IMO. I guess you could pick on that but that's not quite as obvious as a lanyard.

The Niobrara is more like a Lazy River - bring a cooler and a vape and relax on a hot summer day :) Father's Day weekend is great!

I will never forget that Heinz commercial :D

If they have the VV in purple or red when the extra pay hits the bank fine. I'll jump. The worst that can happen is I don't like it :p
