Many people do not know how to leave FB or find the classie link required. YOu can make it easy for them by providing instructions, and / or the link to classies and to the FB you left. I do that sometimes. Its actually another "learning experience" for some who aren't real familiar w/the forum.

Maybe that's what your partner mean by "I'll try". I would write a polite note stating what jigglin just said, and then maybe tell them how to do it. YOu can also just link them to the iTrader link where you left FB for them and telll them what icon to click on and then the inforation will come up for them easily.

Anyway, some people really don't know how to use iTrader ratings and they are intimidated by it. :)

In the future you can trade and sell to whoever you want to, and if your request is ignored than of course you won't want to do a transaction w/them again if that is something important to you. I agree that it is part of the exercise of buying / selling, the courtesy of leaving FB should be honored.

Hi,

Is there anything I can do to require feedback be left for me in the classies? I've had a few transactions (not the latest ones from today) but from a month or so ago where they just refuse to leave it yet I left it for them promptly. I feel like I'm on ebay here lol...

Best you can do is ask. I'm not sure how you'd suggest "requiring" it... I've been slapped once or twice by mods here, but I don't think the management ever goes as far as breaking legs or anything.

It might not be rules but it's common courtesy for others, that's how I operate at least. I asked one person earlier and she replied back with "I'll try"...are you kidding me? LOL! I didn't "try" when I left it for her... Some people have quite the nerve.

Believe it or not some people don't know how do leave feedback and don't bother to find out.

Edit: Oops Racehorse beat me to it.

I agree. The first few things I bought...I had no idea there was a way to leave feedback until I sold something and someone left feedback for me. They may just not know how. A polite reminder with instructions would probably be appreciated.

It should at least be a common courtesy two way street...if you are getting feedback, you should also leave feedback.

I agree, but I don't really sweat it if I don't get feedback. There have only been a handful here who haven't left feedback on our transactions (10 out of 32, though a few might be people I did multiple transactions with that left feedback on only one, which is understandable) and that's a monumental difference from other online trading venues. For example, I've had the same Ebay account since 2000 and just hit 10 total feedback ratings last year . . . after over 100 total transactions
