Most of you have already read the other reviews of this, so I wont bother commenting on fit/finish etc. Did some testing on the voltage and current output of the clone. To make things easier and consistent, I put together a meter specifically for testing mods, and batteries. Tests were done with a IMR 18350 800mAh battery with a 1 ohm load. I initially started testing at 3 different load settings-2 ohm, 1 ohm then .5 ohm, but the battery started falling off before I can finish all tests. Here are the results: Direct battery connection(no Mod) 3.5 amps at 3.8 volts. The Chi You clone did 3.2 amps at 3.5 volts. For comparison, the GP Paps Lux did 3.5 amps and 3.8 volts, as did the sigelei 8W (caravela clone). The Sigelei Roller clone did slightly worse that the Chi clone. I dissembled the switch, polished the wear surfaces, and sanded the contacts and retested, but not much change. A word of caution with the Chi clone. The switch does not use as delrin spacer. If you use a battery that the shrink sleeve does not wrap around the bottom, you will have a permanent ON condition. The Panasonic CGR18650s are like this. Or if the shrink sleeve is worn or torn, you can have intermittent firing whether the switch is locked or not.
This is the meter I built.
