I've gotten some juices that have a distinct floral taste and no amount of steeping eliminates it. I expected that taste in some flavors, but others left me scratching my head. I don't expect floral in a vanilla, blackberry or hazelnut juice.

If steeping doesn't help you, move on to another vendor. That's the only solution I've come up with, though you can mask some of the taste by mixing with stronger flavors like clove, mint, etc.

Totally agree about the steeping and improvement in general about fresh made juice but honestly the two bottles that I've had that had a STRONG purfumy or soapy taste when I recieved them did improve to some degree but still continued to have a bit of that soapy or purfumy taste to me even after steeping. Fortunately very few of the juices I've tried have had a bad taste when arriving but MANY have tasted even better than the good taste they had after a couple weeks of steeping and all so far (got two right now I've still got hope for) that came with a very mild taste have had their flavor pop after about 2 weeks.

There is one particular vendor that to me tastes like soap or perfume. this Vendor is also raved by so many in here. Welcome to my taste bud world.

To me, vapor bombs fruity flavors are not perfumy at all. I like peach and raspberry from them.

LOL, the 3 flavors I just mentioned were from vapor bomb. Maybe it's just my taste buds, but their waffle and clove didn't have that flavor. Hypnotic Mist did, but that's expected.

I just got 4 bottles of ejuice from them and all but 1 have a VERY perfumy taste, enough to make me gag.
I'll try letting them "steep" but this scares the heck out of me and I hope it doesn't continue.I really like vaping but this is giving me a BAD headache!

I think I will try another vendor now....I don't want to go back to analogs becasue of 1 bad vendor experience!Thank goodness my hubby only spent $20.00 on samples and not bought a gallon :p

Really, I think its a bit of a fantasy to think steeping will get rid of that heavy perfume flavor of some juices...... I don't care who makes them. I've had a few juices with that "Just licked the perfume chick at Macy's" flavor, and it never, ever goes away, no matter how long you let that sucker sit on the shelf. I suppose its possible it will fade a bit, but really, its not going anywhere.

I wish someone would discover the source of the perfume/soap taste, and just get rid of it, its pretty horrifying. After one long deep vape of the perfume taste, one never forgets it.

I agree. After almost 3 months of vaping, I have tried all the ones that tasted perfumey and they STILL taste like it. The only ones that don't have that taste are Johnson Creek (for me,at least).

Whatever the "perfumey taste" cause is, it is in the flavoring. I'm a DIYer and make my own juices primarily and I can't vape several of the ones I've made. Chai Tea, White Grape, Earl Grey Tea and Ry4 flavorings for instance- they all taste like I'm licking perfume:( Those flavorings were from PerfumersApprentice and FlavourArt. Oddly enough, I have yet to get a perfumey one from VaporRenu!

Some bought juices I have tried from friends also tasted perfumey- Ginger Ale, Amaretto, Dr Pepper and Egg Nog. It's the same exact perfume taste too- irregardless of which flavor it comes from. I sure do wish they stop using whatever component it is.
