Had a bottle of Vermillion Rivers Kentucky Premium Blend for about 2 weeks and was getting ready to get rid of it because it tasted too perfumey.

I decided to leave the cap half way off for about 6 hours or so and revisited... and i gotta say- for a juice i was going to sell, i think im going to keep now.

Does anyone else leave caps off for juices too perfumey? Would it taste even better if i just left the cap on and steep even longer? Though i like it better now..I kinda think maybe i ruined it slightly and shouldve just let it steep longer.

Just wanted more opinions on this, thx

I had a sample bottle of Wyatt Earp, from FSUSA, and it was WAYYY too perfumey for me. As well as their PureCig Menthol, blehck! I left the bottles open for 24 hours, let the bottles sit for over a week. It helped a very minor bit, but, I ended up giving it all away (Couldn't bring myself to sell it!)

Freedom juice from Halo is similar, but more florally than perfumey. I still have it, but, I am only holding it for a rainy day to trade it for something I'll need in the future :D

I thought the same thing about the wyatt earp I left the cap off for a week. Then let it sit for an additional 5 days. Now I don't taste that weird perfume/chemical taste at all! I am now leaving the caps off all juices that have that same taste. Whatever it is, it evaporates with time.

glad u got the package safely ;D

immediately after doing this i thought of the freedom and torque i sold and was thinking maybe i shouldve tried this before selling..oh well. maybe i dont know the difference between florally and perfumey cus i thought those two were perfumey -.-

Bah, everyone tastes differently :) I taste perfume in some juices, you may not. I taste floral, you might get perfume.

Yes, btw, the package was nice and packed  did you like any of the flavors I sent (I don't remember what I sent, lol! I trade a lot).

Sometimes, what we think tastes like perfume/floral, others might think it tastes 'Earthy' and like it! So, to each their own applies well here, I believe.

basically what you do.....if you can wait that long. Helps a lot when you open it and has that chemical, perfumy smell and taste. Most good juices, don't need it though IMO but I always steep with cap off for 24 hours. Then I try it and if it still has that taste i sit on it awhile (not like a mother hen lol) one or two weeks. ater that if still nasty, forget it lol
