I'm down to 2mg in the dripper and 5mg in the rta. This is down from starting all over again ~last July at 18mg. I've set my goals to reduce 1mg per week which is not working out perfectly but it is working. I went to a diy effort in the midst of this with making juice to accomplish these 1mg steps. I'm moving at a pace that works out for me. I'm reversing over 20 years of a bad habit after all. 13 failed attempts to quit. Gum, patches, schemes, etc. It has all been worthless crap outside of vaping.
Several people that are not into vaping give no merit into this personal program or health benefits that I'm already realizing. My own family has generated the most criticism. Strange how life works.
I've heard all sorts of nonsense lately. "I quit cold turkey on a bet xx years ago" "you're making cigarettes taste like candy" "I just don't see how vaping is not addicting"
These comments serve nothing at all but possibly the mouths they came from. Good for them. They can walk away feeling like they are on a higher plane and I'm going to stick with what is working for me to quit the nic. as a whole.
One of the comments above came from a doctor. I gave him an earful of information that he obviously didn't know. Pure VG or VG/distilled water with minimal flavorings (with nic of course)is something that I do on a regular basis. This part raised a brow. Hopefully he will take the info back and give it a second look. I'm not saying that I'm right as we are not perfectly sure of the long term effects of vaping. I certainly hope that his future research matches up with my findings.
