Hello all! I have been lurking around last week in search for an alternative to analogs. I've been a smoker since college, 14 years ago. I've quit smoking several times in the past, but I've always found my way back to old habits. I just love the draw and taste of analog smoking, but hate the health hazards of it. I like to sample all types of analogs from davidoffs to pall malls. I even rolled my own in the past.
So after looking around this forum, I've decided to purchase a VK from V4L. It took me a while to learn about this model and supplier and was almost drawn to purchase the 501's (hint: Steve, you need to work on getting this product up on this forums top page). What sold me was the "smilin'" reviews y'all have posted on this forum along with the very good hardware write ups.
I ordered the ultimate ultimatum (manual) on Thursday and got the whole package yesterday. As advertised - fast shipping! As I opened the USPS bag, I was really excited to get my first draw from the Vapor King and also find out what surprises Steve and his crew had sent me. Again as advertised, Vapor 4 Life put a smile on my face with the extras that came along with my order! Thank you Steve and crew!
Now, moving along with my first draw. After reading a lot of posts on this forum, I sorta had a basic premise on how to align the cartomizers and battery up as well as how to take a draw from the PV (hint: Steve, the illustrated guide/manual could use some improvement).
Finally, I was ready. I placed the Vapor King on my lips, pressed on the manual button, took a primer puff and drew a soft lover's whisper, slightly increasing it as the milky sweet flavor of cappuccino filled my mouth. The taste was out of this world! Then I tried the "french pipe" that Steve and his crew sent me -"por gratis!" The experience took me back when I would sit on my grandfather's lap as he puffed along his pipe and I would smell and get a hint of sweet tobacco taste in my mouth. That one really blew my taste buds to heaven, vividly invoking happy memories with my loving grandfather.
Not only do I get a full flavor with each puff, I also get an authentic "throat hit" everytime. Thank you Steve! Thank you for making my first VP experience an unforgettable one.
