Pg allergy symptoms

Just did a quick search for pg alæergy symptoms in the forum and didnt really find anything so now i have to ask...

What exactly are the symptoms of pg allergy?
Im asking this because for the first time for over 6 months i have bought a B&M juice, a really delicious french tart liquid with a 50/50 ratio and last night i started sneezing, getting itchy eyes and a runny nose that could compete in the olympics... Then i took 2 alæergy pills and started vaping my own 100% vg mix... Now my nose aint able to compete, my eyes aint itchy and i havent sneezed for 2 hours

But i really wanna slap on that genny with french tart on the mod and vape some delicious cake :S

Itchy eyes runny nose tight throat chest feels tight this is how I feel if I vape any thing over 10% Pg

It may be the flavoring that your reacting too ??
That's the only thing that I have had a reaction too in vaping lol

Sounds like it could be either the flavorings or the PG. I get the sinus and nose dripping, and sneezing symptoms, too. But I am 99% sure it is the PG, in my case. I vaped some unflavored e-liquid I DIY'ed, one 100%VG, one with PG. No symptoms at all with the VG. If you suspect the same for yourself, that's a little experiment you can do to see if it's the PG (or just vape some plain VG and some plain PG from the drugstore or wherever, it's readily available most anywhere).

Well its pretty easy to check... Got both pg and vg availible... Just wanted to see if i could vape that french tart... Would be a shame if its pg allergy, cant seem to make my genny wick 100vg juices anymore :/

Could also be a flavoring...


I had a flavor allergy recently (100% VG)..

Snickers-type, made with real peanuts

Red, watery, itchy eyes & puffy eyelids.. went away when I stopped vaping the stuff & took some Benadryl


Not even allergic to eating peanuts, though


Also had an allergic reaction to a clove juice a while back.. Hands started swelling up & itchy skin

Same cure as above

My own personal symptoms started with chronic, mild nausea on day one. By day four that was nausea that turned into vomiting, difficulty breathing - like my lungs were lined with wet cheesecloth, and transient intense outbreaks of itching on my forearms and hands. All that after hitting my PV no more than a dozen times starting the day. So my entire career vaping high PG liquids lasted all of four days. Scared the excrement out of me - especially the breathing part.

My allergist both confirmed it was an allergic reaction, and wasn't all that surprised either. Apparently PG allergy comes up a lot in that medical specialty. PG is in more products that you may realize.

I accidently over did the PG when I started DIY and I broke out in hives...didn't make that mistake again!

I few drops of distilled water is all it takes to thin out a tank full of 100%VG juice. I usually drip or use my 100%VG in a Reo, but still thin with water out of habit, and it feeds better through the bottom fed tube on the Reo. HTH--And yeah, PG allergies/sensitivities are easy to rule out, but suck to have to live with. But when there's a will, there's a way.

Well i am mainly chasing clouds so its really not that big of a deal... Just really annoying since i got 5ml of this really delicious liquid

That sucks. My wife has pg allergies so all I can vape anymore is vg. I really loved my 100% pg liquids. It was like getting hit in the back of the throat with a sledge hammer. One of my favorite cigs was pall mall non filtered.

I mainly DIY 100% vg juices only since i cloud chase... The problem only occured because i bought a delicious juice from a vendor to use in my genny... Its just really annoying since that french apple tart really tastes awesome
