So I have a friend who is incredibly allergic to PG and we have been searching high and low for a juice he can vape in chocolate flavor (it's the only flavor he likes, picky right? LOL!). Alas we only found one premixed that he likes but it's a buck a ml, and who can afford that? Vaper's Choice Double Chocolate. He likes the flavor to be very strong. So we have decided I'm going to attempt to make it. I have been doing some research and am considering buying the nic from wizard labs in a vg base, along with chocolate tea and coffee flavoring from natures flavors and the chocolate flavor drops from faeries finest (getting two different ones because these were the only two non-oil chocolate pg free flavorings I could find so we might as well try both). Thinning with a little distilled water, then sweetening with liquid stevia from GNC. I've never tried DIY, so any suggestions on getting this flavor right would be much appreciated!

One thing I like to add to my chocolate is a little bit of vanilla flavor... I do around 2% vanilla with 12% chocolate.
I'd be curious to see how you and your friend like the NF chocolate. There's not much info out there about them. I have their butterscotch, and really like it, but have seen mixed reviews on other flavors (the few with any reviews).

I thought about the vanilla thing too. Should I buy vanillin crystals and try to make it with VG myself, or is there somewhere to get it PG free?

And on the stevia, I think you're right. Better get some sucralose too. What about using Ethyl Maltol? Is there somewhere to get that PG free, or could I make my own with VG?

The idea about the cocoa bean extraction is awesome. Definately going to try that too!

The Natures Flavors organic coffee flavorings have a pretty healthy amount of PGA, so it's unlikely you'll need to use thinner.

NF's vanilla is a really good one, I'd use that.

With 0PG mixing, using Natures Flavors, I tend to end up about 20% total flavoring in the final mix (6 ml out of 30)

Do you evap off the PGA on the NF flavors after mixing? If so, how do you do it. Don't want anything tasting vodka-y!

awesome! Ive heard mixed reviews on natures flavors, but I've heard mixed reviews on everyone's flavors so I think I'll get vanilla, chocolate, chocolate fudge and custard from them and the nic base from wizard. Now I just need to decide where I can get the ethyl maltol and sucralose. I know the local GNC sells the stevia.

Their chocolate I'm not too thrilled with, but chocolate is a toughie and I didn't spend any time working with it, so it might be good, just lack of effort by me.

Vanilla is excellent, last time I bought an 8 ounce bottle since I use it in my all day and in three other mixes. Their fruits are also generally solid, and I like their caramel and cappuccino. I've got some Kona Cream that seems nice, though I haven't done anything good with it.

What was it about the chocolate you didnt like? So I can think of anything I might want to doctor with before I place my order!
