PG mixed with nic??

Im looking at a DIY kit online. It comes with 120ml of PG and 35 ml of 36mg nic juice.

My question is, if I just combine both in a bottle what nic will I end up with?

Looks like an about 3.5:1 ratio if I combine. Would it come out to about 9mg?

If so, after I combine the 2 liquids, all I have to do after that is add flavor and Im ready right?

Here is a quick calculation:

You would have 1260 mg of nicotine in 155 ml of solution so I believe it comes out to (8.13 mg / ml)

Close..you would end up with 155 ml of 8.13 mg nic juice. If you add flavors to that, you will end up with closer to 0 nic juice.

Im vaping 24 and its perfect, but I wanna bring that down to 18 soon.

Really wanna start DIY liquids, seems much more affordable and I know what Im putting in my juice.

Oh, and how should one handle 100mg juice? Latex gloves, or something stronger? I dont wanna die making ejuice!

I just handle it very carefully, and don't get any on my hands. Gloves aren't a bad idea either...

You can use your 36 mg juice, just don't mix it ALL with ALL of your 0 nic juice at once. Make smaller bottles and you can make the equivalent of 18 mg.

If you've got 36mg and you want 18mg, the math is easy -- just half and half. Fill something half-full with the 36mg, and then fill it up with the plain PG.

If you want flavor, there are places you can buy 36mg juice with double flavor, so it comes out to 18mg full flavor when mixed (I do this with 48mg juice from MyFreedomSmokes).

I actually have nothing here except for the 2 15ml bottles I got with my starter kit. This is all new to me, and Im not sure which route I want to take.....

DIY all the way, or just buying stuff along with 0 nic doublers...., or just buying stuff already mixed. Price is gonna be an issue, which is why im leaning toward DIY completely...

If your just looking to save money not really a hands on type or don't like to experiment. Then DIY may not be for you, you are already going to save a ton of money over analogs. It sounds like you are interested in DIY and you are asking questions that is good. IF you decide to take that step there is a rather large initial investment in the DIY stuff you will need. You can get DIY kits from several suppliers but really you don't need all of that stuff. You will need alot of very small bottles to mix your home brew in 15ml max. You don't want to mix to much at one time in case it is a bad mix. You will need droppers or syringes to measure you ingrediants and a good mixing program is very helpfull. They are available on here for free and there is an iPhone app available for this as well. You need to read up on how to use handle and mix the nic juice. Most ejuice is 20% flavoring or less and you said you wanted 18mg/ml of nic the rest would be either PG or VG or a blend or both. Really if you want to do DIY read up on it and ask plenty of questions be sure you completly understand before you try your hand at this.

I just dont know how Im gonna mix everything. I guess I need bottles and such.

I am the experimenting type, 100% but am still a bit confused.

I think what I want to do is get some high nic juice, some PG, some VG, and flavors and just go crazy. I want to keep most of my mixes to 3 ml until I find something I really like.

Big investment for this? I have read that after I get all my stuff, I can make juice at roughly 25 cents/ml?

I like experimenting a lot, but I want to save money as well. Will I save more money the DIY route? Or just buying juice?

Since it cost me to .49 cents to make 10ml of nic juice at 18mg and 20% flavoring I would say it is cheaper to DIY. If you have any questions on the calculator just PM me anytime, I have no problems answering PM's.
Download my latest v11 calculator, I added a "Cost to make Juice by the ml" sheet. It will tell you exactly how much it will cost you to make 1ml of juice based off of waht you buy, and then the total amount you want to make, even up to 999,999ml LOL.

About 8 cents a ml or 87 cents per 10ml.

Total minus shippng = Approx 75.00
This will make 250ml of 24mg nic juice with 10% flavoring.
So with this initial investment would cost you 3.33 cents for every 10ml of 24mg nic juice.

Of course that will decrease significantly when you start getting only PG, Nic Juice, and flavoring.

Best bet is to stick to flavors you know you will like or combinations of flavors you know you will like. You might have to go to 20% flavoring when staring out. It has been 8 months since I stopped using analogs and I use between 7 and 10% flavoring now. You will use less the longer you are off analog ciggys. Your tastbuds will returm but it takes time.
