Maybe someone can help me. I've been vaping 24mg cartomizers from v4l for 10 days now with no problems. I received an order of e liquid today of different flavors from a different co. I filled one of my empty carts and vaped like I normally do. I seem to be experiencing a sore throat. Kind of dry, like when you've smoked way too many cigarettes. I had to choose a mix when I ordered. The mix I chose was 60%PG/40%VG. I reduced the nicotine from 24mg to 18mg. Any suggestions? I now have 85 ml of different flavors, What's a girl to do. I should have taken the time to ask Before I ordered!

The dry throat thing is a fairly normal symptom shortly after you start vaping, regardless of what juices you use. PG and VG are both hydrophilic, meaning it absorbs water. Drink lots of water. Eventually your mouth will get used to it and the sore throat will go away.

It is possible that you have some allergy to either PG or VG. PG allergy is uncommon from what I've read, but some people have it and need to use pure VG juice. VG allergy is even rarer, but possible.

The main difference between them is:
PG - thinner (flows easily), holds flavor better, produces less vapor.
VG - thicker (to the point that pure VG sometimes has to be diluted to wick properly), doesn't hold flavor quite as well, but produces TONS of vapor.
