I have been vaping VG and love it. I mix 1 drop of 24mg RY4 vg with 3 drops 18mg Caramel VG.I tried mixing VG and PG and tried PG straight. Did not like the PG I had purchased. What is your favorite and who is the best vendor in your opinion for quality, taste and price of VG. I have come to realize that all juice is not equal, that is for sure. VG or PG or mix which is best at 18mg - 24mg?

Taste is a subjective thing :) But the consensus seems to be the PG holds flavor a bit better - so using VG you might use more flavoring in DIY. PG has better throat hit. VG tends to smooth out harshness and produces more vapor. Some settle for a blend of the two. I personally vape 98% VG based ejuices (the VG cut with H2O 80:20) and I mix my own using Decadent Vapour flavoring from Totally Wicked. I also like ECOpure but there are many vendors that use VG so try out as many as you can until you find the right blend for you. The level of nicotine really isn't affected much by either the VG or PG base other than what is mentioned above on throat hit and vapor.

As far as the question, "Which is better for you?" goes, nobody can answer that, since you are asking about a health topic and there are two issues:

- No research has been done on this.
- Nobody here is qualified to, or wants to, make any statement on such matters.

From anecdotal evidence it appears that some people are intolerant to both, but many more to PG than to VG. So few are intolerant to VG that a reaction to VG might be found to be just to a particular brand or type of VG. However, nobody knows what the long-term implications of inhaling either are; some research was done on inhalation of PG over periods of a year or more (without incident) but the long-term effects are not known, for either material.

Governments will not be performing such tests because it is not in their interests to promote an alternative to smoking.
