I have been shopping around for more Juices and the one question that is often asked is what mix of PG/LG do I want. Well I haven't got a clue and would like to get some input on what would be a good mixture of these two before I make a purchase.

I have heard elsewhere that PG is not so good for you and would like clarification on this as well.

Thanks for your time.

Most folks experiment with pg/vg % to find what they like best, I use mostly 50 / 50.
Some folks have a reaction to pg, some have a reaction to vg, some have reactions to flavorings and blame it on pg or vg.

Inhaling anything but air comes with risks, pg is used in all sorts of medications, vaccinations, cosmetics, foods, drinks - the list is almost endless.

PG will give you more flavor and throat hit and VG will give you more clouds. I do 60 PG/40 VG mix when I have the choice when ordering. I like flavor over clouds but 50/50 is a good balance. :)

Plus PG can be an irritant to some people and they develop an allergy to it.

Here you go simplynewt -

100% PG: Very strong throat hit, with clean flavors and not much vapor production.
80/20 (PG/VG): Still very little vapor production, and a moderately strong throat hit.
70/30 (PG/VG): A little more vapor, a little less throat hit.
60/40 (PG/VG): Decent vapor with a noticeable, but not to overwhelming throat hit.
50/50 (PG/VG): An even mix, with quality vapor clouds and a soft throat hit.
40/60 (PG/VG): Noticeably larger vapor clouds and a reduce throat hit.
30/70 (PG/VG): Good vapor production and a minimal throat hit.
20/80 (PG/VG): Excellent vapor production and a very small throat hit.
100% VG: Very little throat hit, with noticeably sweet flavor undertones and massive vapor production.

The Ultimate Breakdown of PG vs VG E Juices

Good Luck to You!!!

Actually PG works best for me; I could vape 100% PG with zero issues, but any more than 30% VG and I cannot breathe AT ALL. Generally though, I stay at about 75%PG/25%VG for best quality vape. But even with as little as 25% Vg, I sometimes need to add a little water, just so I'm not coughing continuously to try and clear out the VG from my lungs and throat. The stuff is REALLY thick, and can cause a lot of coughing, congested throat, and even, in my own case, complete blockage of the lungs.

PG provides best flavor and throat hit too; VG provides better vapor, which I guess is important to those who want to exhale something like whipped cream. It doesn't suit my lungs AT ALL.
