pg vs vg?? cons? pros? tips?

So i live around buffalo ny and the main local shop i go to ( juicy vapor) seems to only have a pg base in all 900 flavors! i am fairly new to vaping ( 5 months) and have educated myself with what i can..anybody have any tips or experience with either and/or a brief reivew of how they differ? i prefer a good strong throat hit and i seem to read that the pg gives more of that but im not sure...

The FAQ tells you the basic differences between PG and VG. I'm still a noob, but there is a General E-Liquid Discussion Forum that I found to be very helpful. It took me some time to go through and read several threads, but I thought it was very educational. I'm sure some vets will chime in and help you as well, but I hope this helps until the calvary arrives.

I know there are probably a lot of differences, but from what I've read, VG usually produces a fuller amount of vapor whereas PG provides a better throat hit.

Also, some people are allergic to PG and require 100% VG juice.

PG= more throat hit, less vapor
The nicotine level of the juice also effects the throat hit.

VG= less throat, more vapor

everyone's answers sync with everything I've read and my limited experience with 90/10, 80/20 and 50/50 mixtures (PG/VG). I'm going to experiment a little more with what I have on hand before I think about custom ordering, but you should know that some vendors will mix to your preferred specs. nic level definitely has an effect on throat hit - I have a couple of zero nic flavors in 50/50 that are far too smooth (and at this point offer 0% satisfaction).
