As I mentioned in another thread, I'm considering returning to vaping. I quit vaping about a year ago (went back to analogs/cigs). I still have a Janty Dura (510). I got it out of storage and it still works....

Anyway, there was some discussion about PG vs. VG. VG was supposedly seen as safer but PG worked better. What's the state of that debate.

Also, there seems to be so many suppliers of juice today that's it's overwhelming. I was last using the Janty Tobacco. Any suggestions on Tabacco flavored juices. I just saw a review of Backwoods Brew Applewood Tobacco e-liquid 24mg. Sounded interesting. Can anybody provide input?

Although I am still new to this, I have been told that PG will give you the TH and VG will give you the vapor. Because I perfer TH and don't care about vapor I use 100% PG. However, sometimes this makes the liquid too watery. I add about 10%VG to those juices to thicken them some.

As far as health issues go, I have heard talk of some people being allergic to PG. I have not read about anything else with either being a problem.

I had a hard time trying to figure out which supplier to use for juices. I have bought from many and some are weak, some are harsh, some are...... I would suggest going for the ones that offer sample sizes or look for sales and try different suppliers. I like different ones for different flavors!

Welcome back to vaping. Good luck.

Hawaii! Yay haha
PG also has health benefits such as helping prevent pneumonia, killing airborne viral strains (including the H1N1 virus) so if you're not allergic to PG, do it!

There's not enough info to get all intellectual on the PG/VG debate. You have haters on both sides, so I say buy whatever and find what you like :)

You can't go wrong with Backwoods Brew. Also, Alien Visions E-Liquids has a very specialized tobacco base, which is unlike all other vendors, though they only do all-VG and the throat hit isn't hardcore. But the flavor is a MUST-try if you are on a tobacco quest. Recommend C&D (Marlboro clone) and Gamel (Camel Clone). If you're adventurous, get a bottle of Boba's Bounty and do it on a clean atomizer to enter the world of abstract, 'I can't quite put my finger on it' tastes- very addictive!

True there's a lot more vendors now than a year ago, and many of them are worth trying! lots and lots of good stuff!

Welcome back, T^2!

VG does not give the TH (Throat hit) PG does. for good tobacco flavor I like Strictly E Juice. Tobacco is like a light pipe tobacco, Red Velvet comes to mind, Ruyan is like a Camel with vanilla added and 555 is palmal, or similar brand like in flavor. Comes in VG or PG and fro 36 mg down to zero nic so give it a go.
