I have read alot of posts here in the last few days and my wife and I want to make our own E-juice is it better to start at 50/50 blend of PG/VG or 70/30 ? I like alot of vapor so this is why I ask.

Why not try both and see what you like? The base components are relatively cheap. Just mix up a small amount of each and see what you like.
