Can someone post a link to a PG product that is safe to use. I don't know anything about livestock safe, people safe, "found in beauty isle", etc... I'd rather not buy something for cattle or skin, unless that is what's used... any experts? would like to buy at least 100ml... all my liquid is 36mg and I'm finding that the taste of blood in my throat is overpowering the flavor (kidding). But I do need to tone it down a bit.

A direct link in Canada would be greatly appreciated, or store name, etc.

I know you can get VP (not PG) at any Michaels craft store.
I like the VG just for the vapor. People complain that its sweet, which is fine for me because I like sweeter flavoring.

That's good news because there is a Michaels just down the road. I will have a look tomorrow... do you know what volume they sell it in?

I think my big concern is that I don't want to smoke something that might not be safe, and I don't know what is safe or not... with my luck I'd buy it and find out I bought the wrong type Have never used VG before either... but I guess I can give it a try.

Probably a stupid question, but it mixes fine with the PG already in the bottle? No separation, etc?

well what i use and used is a PG and VG from essential wholesale usp grade link to follow

and yes they ship to canada how much i dont know and have serval sizes

Yes, PG and VG mix fine, and PG is sometimes used to cut the thicker VG to avoid issues with atomizers.

PG can be ordered directly from any pharmacy, you must order it from the pharmacist themself and is relatively cheap. I puchased 500ml from Shopper's Drug Mart for $8.99 plus tax.

I wasn't comfortable with shelf purchasing VG and opted order pure Loranne's glycerine online from Golda's Kitchen here: http://www.goldaskitchen.com/merchant.ihtml?id=88&pid=12756&step=4

Although nothing is proven safe for the purpose of vaporizing for direct inhalation, I am personally satisfied at deciding this over analog substances is better for "me".

So I have to ask... if PG is yellowish, how is it that I have ejuice that is PG and it's clear?

an ejuice does not have to be the same color as the base liquid after adding in flavorings and essences it may not even be that much base liquid in there. anyway and the pg i have is clear and the vg is thick and barely yellowish. vg is sweet and produces a nice vape cloud and the pg is good for flavor transfer from juice to vape. i mixed them 50/50 and then mix my 36 down when nessarry. and as far as the skin softner well that is done by the hydrophoic properitys of the base and nothing more and skin creams only have it as part of the base just like and e juice

Is it safe to assume that if I take pure 36mg and mix it 50/50 with PG (no nic), the end result will be 18mg? and how badly with the flavor drop off?

I think 36 is great and all, but not sure I can smoke it all day long

Is it a matter of trial and error with a few small bottles to find something you like or is there an actual art form to it?

Very nice... only problem is that it's already mixed liquid and I don't know how much of everything is already in it... But I get the basic idea... thanks

Nehe, the flavor will definitly drop off the more you dilute.And it also depends on the original flavor. If I dilute my Marlboro more than 1/2 , it's gone totally..But if I dilute RY4 (Riskee) even up to 1/4 - the flavor stays strong..

Also, yes..if you want to dilute your 36mg by 50% (5 ml and add 2.5 ml of VG and 2.5ml PG )- it is a 50/50 mix and you have diluted to 18mg.

You can buy PG at Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy. Just don't tell them it's for e-juice tell them your making some moisturizer. I learned that after visiting 3 stores before I smartened up and lied.

There is a new Canadian supplier here that sells PG for $2.49 for 30ml
Propylene Glycol USP Grade.

You can also try a farmers supply place out on hwy 20 they may have it but more then likely in 1 gallon sizes. As long as it is USP grade it's the same as you would get from Shoppers.
