The spring does nothing but act as a self adjusting 510 connection. The wires connect the batteries to the switch and there is a side plate that connects the negatives.

What is your opinion on this one...

It seems like an excellent mod. I probably wouldnt buy it because of the cost. I only hear good things about those TresEquis

Who needs 12 volts? Maybe if you carry a crate of batteries with you at all times... Il stick with my parallel boxes. Its not about the volts, Its about your build.

A series mech offers just as good battery-life as a parallel mech, in addition to letting you use more surface-area without the ramp-up... I don't own any currently, and am a parallel guy like yourself, but they certainly have there place...
