I grew up in southern California and haven't been back in 15-16 years. I'm finally visiting this August and I decided to see if the carousel I rode a million times as a kid was still there. Yep, and it's nearly exactly the same. The picture doesn't do it much justice but this carousel holds a very fond place in my heart. My dad use to take me here every week, this one is at the marina in Ventura. So much nostalgia... I sat on that exact zebra. However, I do not remember an impala on methamphetamine, it must be new.
