GlaxoSmithKline to invest 200 million pounds in UK manufacturing sites - FirstWord Pharma

GlaxoSmithKline is to invest a total of approximately 200 million pounds ($328 million) in the UK to support its drug pipeline and create a centre for pharmaceutical manufacturing innovation, the company reported Wednesday.

[....]

....The construction of the plant at Ulverston, Cumbria was part of commitments from GlaxoSmithKline announced in 2012 to invest more than 500 million pounds ($820 million) in its UK manufacturing sites. The company also recently said that it would invest 25 million pounds ($41 million) to expand operations at its Montrose site to support the delivery of its drug pipeline.

Coincidence? You decide....

They also recently received FDA approval for the US. Classic tactics, eliminate/burden the competition then just step into the void. This is clearly about money -- and has very little to do our health. No one should be deceived.

The drumbeat of corporate propaganda has begun and will build steadily -- there's BIG money at stake. As an example, tech corporations just spend $2 BILLION on "lobbying" and propaganda to sell their desperate -- and non-existent -- "shortage" of US engineers and scientists.

Raise your voices people -- or you WILL will suffer the consequences.
