Good day kind people of ECF and a sincere thank you for taking the time out to read this.

I recently discovered a Flavour Company that sells Pharmaceutical Grade Flavours and I would just kindly like to ask the expert assistance of the forum members here if there are particular factors that I should consider before purchasing these Pharmaceutical Grade Flavours for my DIY e-liquid project or since these are already Pharmaceutical Grade Flavours I would really have nothing to worry about in using them?

I am hoping that people would be so kind enough to help me here. A sincere thank you again.

Not sure what kind of advice you are looking for here. Without knowing what these are, or seeing them, I dont think we can help much without the right info.

What are these flavors? Who sells them? What are the ingredients? etc, etc.

If you dont want to say, or cant, then check other posts about ingredients that arent safe for vaping. The info is here on ecf, just search for it. That being said no one knows for certain what is safe with vaping.

Good day and thank you for your response.

I was under the impression that these Flavours graded as Pharmaceutical would be best used for inhalation after reading the Sticky Thread entitled "Purity of PG, VG and PEG - The Short Version". I used the information in the said thread as my basis for selecting which kind of PG and VG I would use especially after they were categorized into four grades. The supplier of the Flavours I am after categorized their Flavours into Flavours for Bakery, Beverages, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, Spirits and so on.

The Flavour Company is actually several cities away from where I reside and as much as possible I am hoping that I can gather enough vital information here in ECF before I make the trip. The Flavour Company made mention to me that they could modify the contents of the Flavourings to my specification hopefully like the removal of several ingredients from their flavorings or changing the base of the Flavourings to PG, VG, Water or whichever I need. I was thinking if the flavouring chemical Diacetyl is included I would personally have it removed yet what are the other vital ingredients that need to be modified besides this? Is Pharmaceutical Grade Flavouring the appropriate choice to use as E-Liquid Flavouring or does Pharmaceutical Grade Flavouring actually have no difference to Flavours for Beverages since most of them could be ingested anyway? Would it be wise to have the base liquid carriers of all the Flavourings modified to PG? What other vital details do I need to know or have modified?

I know that the questions I ask involve a great deal of lengthy answers and I am really hoping that the kind people of ECF would have the patience to please kindly help. To be perfectly honest, I am also looking forward to maybe working with the Flavourings of the mentioned Flavour Company in producing my own small-scale yet fair and honest E-liquid business with the best mix of Flavourings and Ingredients that I could possibly be able to produce so as to be able to share with the Electronic Cigarette Community and also of course to support myself and my family better. I know that a lot of information could be discussed well with the people of the Flavouring Company yet of course the advice of the ECF community is indeed vital not only in determining whether the information provided by the Flavoruring Company is accurate but also in providing oneself the appropriate information to make the right decisions through seasoned experts.

Thank you very much kind people and looking forward to hearing from you.

I assumed the lack of info on the supplier meant that you were considering a business out of it. While I dont have a problem with that the problem still remains... We cant help you much unless you reveal your source, or its precise and exact ingredients. No one here can tell you what is "safe" because no one knows. We know some chemicals and compounds are unsafe, and are to be avoided.

Frankly however, the education you need IMO to run a flavoring business is well beyond the scope of what most of the people here delve into. Some of us, myself included, make some of our own flavoring extracts and buy others.

Your lack of knowledge of flavoring, and reliance on others for information in a forum setting, and trusting that information blindly COULD GET SOMEONE KILLED. This isnt the right business for you if you dont know anything about it.

To be a flavoring provider, starting with zero knowledge of chemistry.... well good luck.

Imo, This isnt the right place for the research and development phase of your business. There are countless flavoring companies and thousands of resellers already. Unless you have a degree in chemistry, and a new invention for flavoring... forget it.
