Just got my Phinac Tank today, its awesome, amazing quality. HOWEVER! The o-rings in the caps are so tight, when I slide the carto through it peels some of the o-ring. Eventually I get them in though. When I take the top cap off to put more juice in it is such a pain to get the cap back on.

The carto is just your standard Boge carto, the tank is just a regular size. I lubricated the o-rings with a little bit of my juice - DIY Orange Creamsicle.. delicious. Anybody have any tips?

Heres a pic of the tank. Planning on getting some Mad Murdock Agent Orange or some Pluid to put in here, I thought the Agent Orange would look really cool with the green aliens. Thats why I got a glass tank.. Pluid and Agent Orange. Plus I don't like the Polycarbonate tanks due to BPA's and what not, don't want to be inhaling that.

Btw, shipping was incredibly fast.

Get a tank tool like the Slap Yo Moma. There are other less expensive clones on the market, but in my vast experience it is the best design. This will protect your o-rings as the below video demo/review shows, and also make filling your tank faster and easier.

Good idea to lubricate both the tool and the carto with a little e-juice prior to assembly, and use a twisting motion instead of a straight shot in. I'd also suggest using this method to fill your tank; no need to remove the end cap. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3710-5-cartomizer-tank-setup.html

Here's my Phiniac with color-sandblasted design on a pair of Hoosier Vapes Elegance caps. Juice in the tank is Ecto Plasma before they stopped coloring their juices.

Dudes, okay. I just replaced my carto with a new one and when I try to insert a new carto I have to literally force it through, as gently as I can. It is tearing my o-rings apart. And when I tried to use my filling tool it wouldn't budge. I'm lubricating and twisting and trying to be gentle, but these o-rings are wayyyyy too tight. Are they normally this tight on the phiniacs?

OK wow, found a drip tip that mimics the tank tool found on phiniac, boom. Im dumb.

Do they still make those elegance caps?
You'll need to check out the Hoosier Vapes website. The Bella and Elegance tanks have become pretty popular and are often out of stock. They do make periodic entire batches and offer them for sale at the same time. I think it is either announced on the website or you may need to be placed on a "notify me" list for email notification. They are then sold on a first come/first served basis. All the tanks offered can sell out in a day's time.

These are all one-of-a-kind tanks in multiple colors. The top cap and mouthpiece are one-piece, and twist off the tube for easy juice fills. The default tube is polycarbonate, but they do offer a quartz glass replacement.

I was able to determine that the clear Phiniac tubes would match up dimension wise to fit the Hoosier Vapes end caps.

Lol I have one of those, why didn't I think of that. Thanks guys, I have too much vape stuff I don't even know what I have.

You're not alone, when I bought my first provari I included all the 510 adaptors even though I didn't know what they were for. Then some months later when I got into dripping (and wanted to try a drip shield) I didn't realize I already had what I needed (minus the dripshield) to make it work.

It's like a right of passage from newbieville, I'm stumped as to how your phiniac's orings are so tight if you've lubed them & used the tank tool. I also am cursing Baditude for the SB photos again. I wish they had a maglite flashlight adaptor mount be they look like a clicky mag.

I contacted Chris from Phiniac and he responded (at 1:30 in the morning, awesome) and he told me to use a tank tool, and I found a delrin drip tip that worked perfectly. The tank tool I thought you guys were talking about was the refilling tool. But now its working fine.

They should be one in the same if we're talking about the same thing, but I'm glad you're back up and running. My earlier post was a little con·vo·lut·ed towards the end because I was nursing my first cup of java of the day. I just meant Silverbullets are nice and clicky and mag-lite-like.
