So ya..I'm fairly new to the vape thing..and I still find some of this stuff a bit confusing. I have a provari..it was a step up from the ego twist. I got it because I break crap pretty easy..so after bending two twist batteries off at the top and breaking god only knows how many carts just by looking at them wrong, I got a provari with a dbox clearomizer. I flipping love it! No leaks, great vape, and nothing busted so far...

Thing is...I really like the dbox and the bottom coils.

And..I really like the look and (from what I have read) the toughness of the phiniac tanks.

So my question is..can I set up one of those tanks with a bottom feed? I would love to order one, but as a newbie, I'm a bit confused with what the heck I'm supposed to do with the tank once I get it in terms of making it a working device..help?

The Phiniac is a carto tank - it uses a pre-punched cartomizer inside of it (or you can buy non-punched cartos and punch/slot them yourself - either way, it has to be punched to draw liquid from the tank). It's inherently "bottom feed" in the sense that the holes in the carto are near the bottom of the tank, but I don't know of any device you could put in it to make it a true bottom feed like a ProTank, etc.

Here's a great blog by Baditude explaining carto tank setup which may be helpful to you: Cartomizer Tank Setup

Hi

I just want to clarify, since the terms get confusing sometime. A Protank, EVOD and other clearos in that class are bottom coil, BCC. A bottom feeder it a different system completely. A bottom feeder is a box mod that has a small bottle inside. When the bottle is squeezed the liquid goes up a tube and feeds into the bottom of the atomizer. The Reo and VMod are examples of BF.
