Hey everyone, Phishy2na here.

I am new to ECF forum, and heard about it through vapetv live. I have been off of analogs for a little over a month now, and still using ego 900 mAh batteries with ego dual coil mega cartomizers. I am doing alot of research on true 3.7v mods and have yet do decide on one. Price will definatly be a factor, especially right now in the colder months when my catering company is not very busy.

Does anybody have any thoughts on the inexpensive tube mods such as those from parkes?

Thanks for the welcomes and congrats. I agree, with you Shonna, vaping is much more fun and healthy. The vaping community seems great thus far, have made new friends and can see this becoming a hobby as well as a crutch to keep away from the analogs.

I am still trying as many juices as I can afford to, and from as many vendors as I can until I find some juices I can vape for extended periods of time.

Welcome to ECF phishy. I do not own any of the mods on Parkes site. Not a big fan of the exposed switch on them. They may be great IDK. You might look into The Bolt mod. Construction is nice and solid. Similar to The BB(Black Beauty). Reviews have been good. Priced a bit higher than the Diamond/Shine mods. Pretty sure this will be my next mod. Happy shopping.

Crystal Clear Vaping This is the cheapest I have found for just the mod only. He should be getting a stock update soon.

Welcome to ECF.

I don't anything about the tube mods on Parkes, but when I just went to look at them, I saw that it says the on/off switch is on the bottom and that they will not sit upright with the bottom switch attached. It says the pics are taken without the bottom switch on the mod.

Oops, when I went back to look at them, I found that that was not true of all the mods, just some of them.

Welcome to the forum phishy, I don't have any personal experience with the mods you are looking at, but they look pretty cool-kinda like Roughstack with the switch on the side. I just recently bought my 1st mod and went with the Silver Bullet, but have vaped the Bolt that dripdaddy mentioned and liked it, just not as much as the SB. The Bolt had a good solid feel and I liked the way the switch felt as well.

The bolt is a good mod but frankly for a 3.7 mod its not so much the mod and way, way more the batteries. I have recently been converted to AW batteries and will not go back. they just last and have more muscle.

Honstly if ya just want a better vape out of a ego style battery I would recommend going to hoosier and trying a Kgo battery. They come off the charger hotter and have a more consistent and higher voltage under load. The Kgo will come off the charger at 4.2v and should stay in the rage of 3.7-3.8 till it runs out compared to a ego that will vape at around 3.4.

I have a few friends that also use a Hatch and they like it to and was fairly cheap for the money. Hope this helps.
