im scared to ask, but did you fill it properly. i had one dump on a refill last night around 3am, but then i realized what i did wrong, never had one dump out of the blue unless it was filled improperly, the other reason could be if the wick arent visible and are pushed to the side but on the 3ml and xl its easy to check for that

ok so i calm down after cleaning up the mess and drying my eyes lol, the twist is back in action.

Badkolo i have filled many of the XL's never a dump, i just check the vid on filling the 3mil and believe i did every thing right (see no different from the XL's) not sure what went wrong. You say you had a refill dump? what was the problem?

I just refilled this thing and scared to put it down lol, wish me luck.

the one last night i refilled was my fault because of the plug, 2 things, one was the fill hole, i was using a large syringe and killed the pressure because the hole was open seeping out pressure, second wrong thing was i didnt seat the plug back properly and pressure was escaping form that as well

the one form last week, the issue on that one was the wick in coil area, after cleaning and dry burning and putting it together i must of pushed the wick to the side so there wasnt much wick covering the hole so after a few minutes of vpaing it poured through, so now i know what to check each time.

as steeljan pointed it acts like a syringe, the vauum keeps it all in place, so the issue would be in the 3 places i mentioned.

I truly hope you get your issues resolved my friend, but if you'll permit me a bit of advice, until you trust the phoenix, don't leave it anywhere near anything you care about :( Made this mistake myself. I felt a real visceral "ouch" when I read the OP, I'm glad your twist is working :)

In fact, please never leave ANY carto/clearo/atty sitting on your PV, even if its one in a thousand, its gonna happen eventually. And all the "mine never leak" posts in the world will never do a damn thing to bring your gear back from the grave.

after using mine for about a week now, it's constantly flooding.
suggestions... i normally just pull the plug to fill is and though i might be a pressure issue so i emptied and cleaned and then used the needle.

It's still flooding, pretty much enough to fill the battery hole and then it stops.
is this still a pressure issue?

i though i was filling them right, but it seems now that has died.
any battery i hook it up to just flashes, i think it's shorted out.
how are these to take apart?

they are very easy to take apart and clean...see bad's viedo on the prodcut page or it is in the original Phoenix available posting here as well...

Filling it wrong or getting too much pressure in it will make it dump big time. I just did my regular cleaning of all of our Phoenixes yesterday and handed the first one over to my husband. He filled it up and puffed on it for a bit til it started giving good vapor and then just let it hang on his lanyard. When he went for another draw, there was juice all over the battery and his shirt. It had dumped about 1/4 of the juice in it. He filled it up to the ridge on the metal post where it covers the coils. After that, not another drop leaked. Of course, that's not the entire tank dumping its juice.

I think it's because he filled it so much. I never fill mine more than halfway. They seem to always do fine filled halfway but if I fill it close to the top, it's kind of a gamble. This isn't everyone's experience and some say to always fill it up, so I dunno. He also shoots the juice into it really quickly while I push it through the syringe slowly. Maybe that has something to do with it because he is the one who has flooding and I don't with the same tank. So it could be because he fills it so fast and so much that it pushes the air through the tank too forcefully or something. I'm currently vaping on the tank that dumped its juice on him last night with absolutely no trouble at all.
