Hey everyone. I am sooooo stuck right now on what is causing the burnt flavor in my vape.
Background: i have a phoenix rda with about a .9 wrap on a bagua mod. a few days ago it was pressed on in my pocket and burned all the way through the wick....since then i have been experiencing a burnt taste issue. I have changed out wick many many times(100% pure cotton) I even went to my shop and they wrapped a new coil for me. The issue was gone until this afternoon when i wanted a new wick and changed it out at work...now I am back to burnt flavor! I cant figure this out! the only thing i notice is that when i am dry heating the wick to get rid of residual liquid from the old wick a little bit of smoke is coming from one of the negative posts. I have tried the wick thick pressing up against the coil tightly and thin so it has room to wick..i have tried dousing it before initial fire to really soak the wick too. The only time it is not there is if i drip a few drops right onto the coil...but soon it returns...even with a soaked wick. I am going nuts trying to figure this one out. All help is appreciated!!
