Skydragon, I am just too tired (lazy) to resize the pics to something smaller. I did that to a few on Photobucket, figuring I still have the original size on my hard drive, then the crash and now I only have small ones on Webshots or Photobucket.

Another of Bella when she was young

Here is s slideshow from my whale watching trip to Victoria, through the beautiful San Juan Islands. Pics aren't good due to the extremely overcast weather and my lack of skills. Should work if you click on this pic and no, that is not me in the pic next to the giant cedar stump.

Peruvian Daffodils (sadly I don't have these any longer)

This is Rosie when she was a baby. Both of her back legs are deformed, didn't want to freak anyone out by showing a pic of that unless asked. She gets around in an unusual fashion and is about 10 years old now.

I like the thumbnails from Webshots and by clicking on them you can see the larger size picture.

The picture is hosted on another site (in this case Webshots - I use Photobucket, but there's lots more to pic from) and then linked into the post.

MM, how exactly do you do that. As in step by step. I am woefully ignorant when it comes to moving files and links etc. Thanks.

Rose, you shouldn't worry about freaking anyone out. You are to be commended for accepting her as she is and giving her a home. Many wouldn't.

I'll explain the steps I use (I use Photobucket, other image hosting sites might be slightly different)

First, sign up for an account (it's free!) and logon.

To upload picture(s) Click the button "Upload Images and Video"

    Capture1.jpg

A dialog box pops up, from here browse to where you pic is and select it (you can select more the one file if you want!) and then click "Open"

    Capture2.jpg

You'll see a progress bar for each file as it uploads:

    Capture3.jpg

Once all the uploads are done transfering the page reloads and you'll see the pic(s) you uploaded at the bottom. From here you can add text comments/descriptions (I pretty much forget to ever do this!). When you're satisfied with any comments you add then click "Save and Share Now"

    Capture4.jpg

The page reloads and now there's image link code below each pic. Just click in the code box and copy it (CTRL C)

    Capture5.jpg

Then you just paste (CTRL V) the code into a post. When pasted it look something like this (I added the spaces so you can see the code and not the image) [ IMG ] h t t p : / / i844. photobucket . com / albums / ab4 / nekkidnorman / Capture4 . jpg [ / IMG ]

That's all there is to it! If this isn't clear or you have questions just let me know!

Thanks MM. I will try it sometime this weekend. And knowing me, I will probably have more questions. Thanks again.
