thanks guys!! it was a really nice day.... except for all the ppl... lol... it was a little too crowded for me, but the beach itself wasn't that bad. the water was freezing!!!! i don't know how Lara stayed in for as long as she did.
i love the pictures WW!! that's gotta be pretty cool to have him living in the back yard... Jacob would LOVE it!! Do they ever get any other creatures wander in??
You mean like the gators the wildlife people come and take out a couple times a year, raccoons, wild macaw parrots, ducks (apparently the iguana and the gators eat the baby ducks though) oh and my favorite the occasional monkey. LOL Once in a blue moon they get the little key deer too, but not very often.
There use to be a place in Miami called Monkey Jungle and when hurricane Andrew hit it wiped the place out. The monkeys all escaped into the everglades where they apparently still live, breed and carry on.
I haven't been back to Florida in 16 years and only was to the house they are in now twice to visit. This isn't the house I grew up in. That house was in a more normal part of Fort Lauderdale LOL.
There was a gator in their lake when I was there last. He would lay up in their yard and wait for the baby ducks to come out of the bushes. That was the only wildlife I got to see. The rest I have to take the word of my mother
