Jacob is learning how to color... he's such an artist...
Isaac's mom couldn't stand Jakes hair being so long so she cut it... this is the new and improved baby...
and to get him to sit for the haircut i had to bribe him w/a fudge pop... this is the aftermath....

I know, you don't give up your secrets. But one day I will find them. I won't know what to do with them once I do but first things first.
Ahh I see... okay I think I can do this...
First i grab my mouse (the computer kind not a real one. I don't own a real mouse but I thought I would clarify),then I open a new browser tab, then I type in google.com, and then I think of some absolutely ridiculous term to type in the search box and click the images tab*** and Voila!! they appear as if magic

Went shopping with my DIL and grandson on Saturday....
he loves those carts with the car on the front...
and the tough lil bugger actually pushed the cart more than half way down the aisle (albeit with a bit of weaving lol) while she just held him and walked without touching the cart.....
and of course today while having dinner for my fathers birthday I couldn't pass up the chance to snag him and let him feed himself cake for the first time...
thinking of which I should text them and see if he has made it to sleep yet

we were soooo sad to see his curls gone... isaac is still a little upset... but that's what i told him, "they'll grow back" and quickly too! we are going to SC in about 2 weeks so he really did need a cut... and if we would've taken him down there w/all that hair my family would've kidnapped him and shaved it all off!!!
He sure is. On that trip to the grocery store, in the pics, we were at the deli and my DIL had taken him out of the car/cart and was holding him and another lady with a baby was walking by and stopped to look at him and asked how old he was, he is 9 months now, and he is about twice the size of her 7 month old she had with her lol
Hey Val I don't know how I missed the update to the thread back when you posted that last pic but my apologies for not commenting back then. I'm guessing he's all better now though and hope it wasn't anything to bad.

So this isn't the best pic and the second one isn't even a pic but I just had to share these ones with you guys. My grandson, now almost 10 months old, and I decided today was as good a time as any for his first ice cream cone

ahh the fun of being the only one of the grandparents or great grandparents that they know it won't do any good to say "You can't do/give/let/etc. with him"
okay and right after making that post I notice that this one my DIL took was up on FB so....
Thye, he is just too cute!! 10 months huh... is he walking yet? That's when Jacob started.... now it's time to watch out! He will no longer be that cute innocent little thing, now he'll be the cute little devil that destroys everything!!!! I'll have to find the video (when we get back) of Jacob's first lollipop. It was the cutest little thing, he wasn't any older than 3 months and Isaac thought it would be good to give him his first taste of one...now the boy is absolutely obsessed w/his lops (that's what he calls them)
Jacob is fine now. I got home from work one day and he was running a fever, gave him some tylenol and put him to bed that night. He woke up at 1am even hotter 104 degree temp this time so I took him to the ER. When we got there he vomited everywhere, and I do mean everywhere! They checked him all out and said he had an ear infection. So we got the prescriptions and came home. Did the follow up w/the pediatrician and it turns out that he had a double ear infection but that it was healing properly. Now he's back to 100 percent, and terrorizing the world!

He is walking but only when holding onto someone. I was showing her yesterday that she should only hold one hand so that he will get used to balancing himself. He kept trying like crazy to get me to take the other hand but I just kept moving mine just out of reach and he did good trying to get to it.
Next up.... getting them to potty train him early so I can start stealing him often

Thy he is just so adorable and you are such a great grandpa. For now I'll just enjoy pics of everybody else's kids and hope my daughter doesn't make me a grandma for several more years
Vapor she is a beauty! Those eyes will make everyone melt. She'll have no trouble getting her way and you are going to need a baseball bat for the boys when she gets older. Hubby has a replica of the broad sword from the Highlander movie and when our daughter was a teen and would bring boys home, hubby would get out his sword to show them. Of course hubby is no small man and the boys were scared of him with or without the sword. Daughter would tell them that it wasn't her dad they needed to be afraid of, it was her mom
