Hi All,
I picked up a Redd basic kit over from Happy Vaper. You get one charged battery, and empty carto for like 10 bucks. I couldnt justify spending $100 on the whole kit having started on an 808 when I first got into vaping and was always just "ok" with the performance of them, however I am seriously impressed with this little ....... lol.
Size wise, its like a normal "king sized" cigarette. The vapor production is pretty awesome, considering the size. Im using 8mg VG juice and it feels like a smoke. TH could be a bit better, but I think its my juice (I do thin it out with distilled water so it wicks better in my startdusts)
I would totally recommend this to noobs, or people that are adamant about having something that looks like a cig or are turned off by some of the mods (cause some do look kind of chronic, you must admit). I got to look at the PCC while at the warehouse picking it up. It is very nice and holds everything. Best one to date IMO. The perfect out and about ecig, while at a bar, or driving. You can comfortable hold this by the cart between your lips/teeth.
Performance is better than the bloogs or any other 808's, 401/402s Ive tried over the years. For the older veterans, who remember the whole 501 was the better ecig back in the day, I would say this is better than that easily. Yes battery life will suck on these little guys. But my main concearn I have always had with vaping, is that we seem do over do it, more that you would with cigarettes. So I kind of like the fact that this make me more aware of how much I vape. Plus if you end up getting the kit/PCC, from what Ive read/been told your second battery should be charged by the time you run the other one out....if you not sucking on it like a pacifier that is...
My only gripe about this is the cost @ $100. Its a bit pricey for what it is, a great performing 808. If you have been on the fence about them, try ordering the basic kit from Happy Vaper, or just get the whole thing...Im waiting for my next budget to kick in, then probably pick it up.
Anyone else have anything to say? Im curious about the carto it uses. When this dies, I want to take it apart and check out whats inside. I always find cartos makes me feel heavy chested when I've used in the past. Havent experienced it yet, but it's only been a few hours.
Mods, sorry if this isnt the place to post this, but this wasnt intended to be a review.
