I have been dripping directly and it's been working great. Even better then my 901 or even the 801.
The price is a little on the high side 74.99 plus tax. Could have bought on the web for about $60 plus shipping but didn't want to wait.
Overall impressed, 1 year warranty. Lots of vapor when dripping. Nice unit.
