I'm an extremely picky eater. When I go grocery shopping at the supermarket, it's actually hard for me to find food I really want to eat.

Now, I've tried 35+ different e-liquid flavors. I can vape only one of those on a daily basis. A couple other flavors, 3 or 4 I think, came kind of close but I ended up getting sick of them after a couple hours.

Am I the only *really* picky vaper or is this normal? I wonder if all picky vapers are also picky eaters. What do you guys think?

I usually find one juice I really like out of every 10 I try. Actually maybe a bit better odds than that at PureVapes.

What PG/VG are you getting? VG dulls flavor. I use up to 50% VG on an atomizer, 20% or less in cartomizers to keep good airflow and drag. If you are using atomizers, you need to keep them clear. If using cartridges on an atomizer, try restuffing with the blue foam - easier to rinse and pat dry for fresh taste. Cartomizers - try not to singe them (singe adds a bitter taste)

I am not a picky eater but many juices are weak or not very aromatic. BTW remember to smell the vapor. Your tongue can only taste sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami (MSG). So a cherry juice vapor, for example, should taste an appropriate amount of sweet and sour on your tongue but it won't be cherry unless you smell the vapor.

Some I have liked - Vapor4Life WOWbacco and WOW Vanilla, Velvet Vapors Raspberry Gingerale and Vanilla ALmond Tobacco, FreedomSmokeUSA Pomegranate and oRYental 4 and the nutty pungent Desert Ship tobacco for cartos, and for an atomizer Hopscotch and Voodoo (remember to smell Voodoo - a bit subtle but mesmerizing). Vixen Vapor Peach. Several I tried as samples from PureVapes like Raspberry custard and Mango. Oh and Gourmet Vapor vanillarum (vanilla w/ caramel and rum). And my first all day vape was Backwoods Brew Casablanca (on an atomizer)

Two other honorable mentions but they drop too much sediment for me to use them in cartos - FreedomSMokeUSA Cocoa (strong and almost bitter, can really put muscles into a tobacco), and their Orange Ball (excellent and the sediment isn't too bad and it can add depth and excitement to a blah tobacco), and Juicy Vapor B52 (B52 tobacco - Baileys, Grand marnier, Southern Confort and tobacco flavor)

Yes. I'm very picky about what I vape; not so much about what I eat though. I will eat almost anything but most e-liquids, I don't care for. Thank god I found Johnson Creek's Tennessee Cured as early in my vaping journey as I did. Otherwise, I'd have spent TONS of money looking for that 'right' vape.

I'm not so much 'picky' as 'snobby'. I have an overactive sense of smell and taste, and can pick up on the most faint of smells and flavors. It's a blessing when tasting and smelling really high-quality, complex stuff...not so much on the flip side.

I freaking hate--HATE--Dekang and V4L juices. Instant headache...feel like vomiting. Bleh.

I stick with natural and organic juices and they haven't let me down yet. Try Vaperite, Copper Creek, Virgin Vapors...they're all great juice vendors, IMO. Also, Backwoods Brew is awesome, as well. Don's Vanilla and Espresso are phenomenal.

Common, I think. I have tons and mostly vape 1-2 juices, the ones in my sig. My sister only vapes Vapor Station Tampa and my Mom only vapes BWB Casablanca. They won't even try anything else.

I am picky in both catagories - perhaps pickiest on e-juices. Have tried many, many, many in three months and only have one all day vape (Peppermint from Velvet Vapors). For a "palate cleanser" I vape madvapes Black licorice occasionally. I would love to find more but am sick of spending the money to only be disappointed. Luckily Velvet Vapors always throws me in a sample of something when I re-order my fave so maybe I won't be on Peppermint forever! (Can't talk anymore my tongue is numb...)

It can be hard to find something you want to vape ALL THE TIME for sure.
That is why you need a few flavors you kinda like to switch up with now and then.

I vape DK-TAB from Dekang most of the time.

I vape Backwoods Brew Casablanca sometimes.
I vape Tasty Vapor Mint Chocolate Chip sometimes.
I vape RY4 from Dekang sometimes.
I vape MyFreedomSmokes keoke coffee sometimes.
I vape DIY Flavor Shack chocolate orange stick sometimes.
I vape Mrs T's Bakery pizza sometimes.
I vape Mrs T's Bakery blueberry muffin sometimes.
I vape Kick Bass Vapor carmelized coffee sometimes.
I vape Kick Bass Vapor candy bar sometimes.

It just is what it is.

+1 for flavorless occassionally. I'm embarassed to share how much I've spent on juices over the last 7 months. It's ridiculous. The reviews sound so wonderful "JC Tennessee Cured is the best blah, blah..." That juice tastes SO nasty to me that I threw up a little (No offense to JC. I like one of their juices). Just saying that reviews are completely worthless to determine if your tastebuds will be happy or disgusted with a juice.

I agree that some of us are super-tasters or have hyper-picky tastebuds. When I hear someone ordered 10 juices and loved them all they're lying, work for that company and are doing a fake review or should buy a lottery ticket with that kind of luck. It's discouraging but still 1000x better than smoking cigarettes. So I will vape on. Hope you find some likable juices. You're not alone.
