Pico chrome

After only a couple weeks of light use the "chrome" button and area around the top where my finger touches is wearing off.It looks terrible.Anyone else's doing this? Mine is black/"chrome".

I have had my brushed silver Pico since July 14 and so far no issues. I have read that others have had this problem before.

Thanks Ed. I guess I can't expect too much from a 22.00$ mod but its still a little disappointing.

I've had a brushed silver for over a month. No issues for me either. It may be a skin chemistry thing? I know some people's skin reacts badly with certain metals.

You may have something there. I have a copper mod and where I touch it, there's very little patina. My body chemistry seems to act as a protectant.

My black one I have had for many months has no issues, nor does my housemate's and she abuses hers pretty hard. They both (actually have 4 in rotation that show no wear) recently went into silicone sleeves though.

You're not alone. I've had my first Pico since late May and I am seeing some wear on the top chrome 'band' and on the battery cap as well.

I have had my first 2 black pico since very beginning of may but I rotate between another pico, and now a lot more mods so it gets les suse than someone that uses one mod all day
