For the picture part, be on the full web site in your mobile browser, not the mobile version. Once you choose "from Computer", your mobile will ask you to find the picture in your gallery.

And if you want to post an image from the web full size copy the image url and unchecked the retrieve remote file and refrence locally on the image upload pop up.
